The present studies have been executed to explore the protective mechanism of carnosic acid (CA) against NaAsO 2 ‐induced hepatic injury. CA exhibited a concentration dependent (1–4 μ M) increase in cell viability (12 murine hepatocytes. treatment significantly enhanced ROS‐mediated oxidative stress cells both vitro and vivo systems. Significant activation MAPK, NF‐ κ B, p53, intrinsic extrinsic apoptotic signaling was observed ‐exposed cells. could counteract with redox thereby attenuated...

Previous investigations indicated that curing of a 7.4‐Md plasmid (pSMB74) resulted in concomitant loss bacteriocin activity and immunity Pediococcus acidilactici H. Transfer pSMB74 to gentamicin‐neomycin resistant (Gm r Nm ) derivative P. LB42, which was devoid any DNA, required cell‐to‐cell contact on solid mating surface converted the strain Bac + phenotype. Gene transfer processes such as transduction transformation were ruled out from experiment. Treatment donor cells with chloroform...

Attempt has been made to evaluate free radical scavenging activity of water extract Spirulina platensis on cisplatin-induced lipid peroxidation using some common laboratory markers. In this present study goat liver used as source. This in vitro evaluation was done by measuring the malondialdehyde, 4-hydroxy-2-nonenal, reduced glutathione and nitric oxide content tissue homogenates. The results suggest that cisplatin could induce a significant extent it also found algae ability suppress toxicity.

Anticancer drugs and diagnostics can be transported in nanoscale vesicles that provide a flexible platform. A hybrid nanoparticle, nano assembly made up of many types nanostructures, has the greatest potential to perform these two activities simultaneously. Nanomedicine shown promise vesicular carriers based on lipopolymersomes, lipid peptides, metallic nano-vesicle systems. However, there are significant limitations hinder clinical implementation systems at commercial scale, such as low...

The root bark of Zizyphus nummularia (Rhamnaceae) is traditionally used as an anti-inflammatory agent. current study aimed to explore the activity (in vivo) a crude ethanolic extract (EE) and pure identified octadecahydro-picene-2,3,14,15-tetranone (IC) in Z. nummularia. IC was further subjected suitable vitro silico studies find out mechanistic pharmacology. EE (100 200 mg/kg, p.o.) (400 600 μg/kg, were vivo assays evaluate predict probable mechanism(s) action. Abstract In the present paper QSAR modeling using electrotopological state atom (E-state) parameters has been attempted to determine antiradical and antioxidant activities of flavonoids in two model systems reported by Burda et al. (2001). The property a methanolic solution 1, 1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) activity β-carotenelinoleic acid were studied. Different statistical tools used this communication are stepwise regression analysis, multiple linear regressions with factor analysis...

Abstract In the present study, Quantitative Structure-Activity Relationship (QSAR) modeling has been carried out for lipid peroxidation (LPO)-inhibition potential of a set 27 flavonoids, using structural and topological parameters. For development models, three methods were used: (1) stepwise regression, (2) factor analysis followed by multiple linear regressions (FA-MLR) (3) partial least squares (PLS) analysis. The best equation was obtained from regression (Q2 = 0.626) considering...

A QSAR study was performed on ninety eight substituted biphenyl analogues of 2-nitroimidazo-[2, 1-b] [1, 3]-oxazines as antitubercular agents to explore the importance topological, thermodynamic, spatial and physicochemical properties molecules towards activity. Genetic function approximation (GFA) used chemometric tool for study. The shows that ortho meta linked attachments analogs 2- nitroimidazo-[2, are detrimental Hydrophobicity, branching presence electronegative atoms enhance Based...
