Athletes might suffer from potentially fatal heart disease, which has always been a concern in cardiovascular medicine. The changes left atrial (LA) size and function are related to the occurrence of arrhythmia. In present study, four-dimensional automatic quantitation (4D LAQ) was used explore LA young strength athletes. Eighty professional athletes sixty healthy adults matched age were selected for study. volumes strains automatically analyzed by 4D LAQ. receiver operating characteristic...

Transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) is recommended as the first-line treatment in intermediate-stage patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) or a palliative modality advanced patients. However, tumor control usually requires multiple TACE interventions due to presence of residual and recurrent lesions. Elastography can provide information about stiffness (TS) predict recurrence. In this study, we aimed analyze effects on HCC using ultrasound elastography (US-E). We investigated...

Objectives Mitral regurgitation (MR) is commonly experienced by patients with aortic insufficiency (AI), and in its mild form, it considered benign. However, the progression of concomitant after valve surgery (AVS) for AI poorly characterized. The current study aimed to define long-term outcomes MR identify risk factors involved deterioration. Methods Patients presenting moderate/severe ( n = 347) between January 2013 December 2021 were enrolled. grade was assessed transthoracic...

Angiosarcoma is an extremely rare primary cardiac malignant tumor, with characteristics of early blood metastasis and radiochemotherapy resistance. Early diagnosis timely treatment are great significance to the prognosis patients. Hereinafter, we report a case angiosarcoma in left atrium 61-year-old woman who underwent multimodality imaging successful resection angiosarcoma. Results present suggest that multimodal plays important role detecting determining plan for patients after treatment.
