Isomeric states of the neutron-rich isotope 189 73 Ta 116 were populated via fragmentation a primary beam 208 Pb ions at 1 GeV/u impinging on 9 Be target GSI, Darmstadt, Germany. The isotopes interest separated, identified and delivered to DESPEC setup. Two isomers deduced in their lifetimes measured based γ-ray time distributions.

The reaction network in the neutron-deficient part of nuclear chart around A ≈ 100 contains several nuclei importance to astrophysical processes, such as p–process. This work reports on results from recent experimental studies radiative proton–capture reactions 112,114 Cd( p , γ ) 113,115 In. Experimental cross sections for have been measured proton beam energies residing inside respective Gamow windows each reaction, using isotopically enriched 112 Cd and 114 targets. Two different...

This work features preliminary results from a recent experimental campaign at IFIN-HH, Romania, aimed measuring lifetimes of excited states in the neutron-rich 180Hf, by means RDDS technique. The 181Ta(11B,12C)180Hf proton pick-up reaction was used to populate 180Hf nucleus. ROSPHERE array loaded with 25 HPGe detectors employed for detection γ transitions depopulating levels interest. coupled SORCERER particle detector and plunger device enabling study p-γ p-γ-γ coinciding events. The even-even Ytterbium isotopes lack spectroscopic information with the increase of neutron number and they are well deformed nuclei, presenting rotational properties. In this mass region nuclear chart predictions have shown rare phenomena related to structure, such as shape coexistence. work population excited states were investigated in Yb via 2n-transfer reaction 168-174Yb (18O, 16O) 170-176Yb. measurements carried out at 9 MV Tandem accelerator Horia Hulubei National Institute Physics...

A web–based database of nuclear electromagnetic moments data has been created and hosted online at the University Athens since 2012. In this work, we report on an update which focused syncing spectroscopic information, electric quadrupole magnetic dipole with ENSDF literature values. new feature is incorporation charge radii values obtained after 2015. Additionally, instructions how to use database, alongside annonations abbreviations, are presented.

The medium-to-heavy mass ytterbium isotopes (70Yb) in the rare-earth region are known to be well-deformed nuclei, which can populated very high spin, and predicted exhibit interesting phenomena, such as shape coexistence. lack of any experimental information on structure neutron-rich 180Yb isotope lifetime 21+ state 178Yb have greatly motivated this study, offer useful for collective behavior neutrons protons Yb isotopes. A measurement was performed investigate population excited states a...
