Many compounds are produced by different modifications of the benzofuran moiety, and each those molecules exhibits a wide range biological activity. New derivatives (M5a-M5t) were using various reagents techniques. The made combining 7-chlorobenzofuran-3-yl hydrazine 5-nitrobenzofuran-3-yl)hydrazine with benzaldehydes, such as 2-chloro, 4-Chloro, 4-Nitro, 2-Nitro, 4-Fluoro, 3-Methoxy, 4-bromo, 3-Bromo, 3-Chloro 3-Nitrobenzaldehyde used.

Phosphate (Pi), an essential macronutrient for growth and development of plant, is often limiting in soils. Plants have evolved array adaptive strategies including modulation root system architecture (RSA) optimal acquisition Pi. In rice, a major staple food, RSA complex comprises embryonically developed primary seminal roots post-embryonically adventitious lateral roots. Earlier studies used variant hydroponic systems documenting the effects Pi deficiency largely on growth. Here, we report...

Among abiotic stresses, salt stress adversely affects growth and development in rice. Contrasting tolerant (CSR27), sensitive (MI48) rice varieties provided information on an array of genes that may contribute for tolerance Earlier studies transcriptome proteome profiling led to the identification stress-induced serine hydroxymethyltransferase-3 (SHMT3) gene. In present study, SHMT3 gene was isolated from salt-tolerant (CSR27) OsSHMT3 exhibited salinity-stress induced accentuated...

Subtropical fiber flax faces significant challenges due to crop lodging, exacerbated by the high N regimes needed for increased production. This study examines impact of balanced P and K applications under varied on lodging resistance, yield, quality flax. Field experiments with 12 NPK treatments revealed that while 120:19:38 kg N, P, ha−1 achieved highest plant height, stem-diameter, fresh-weight percentage reduced when were not balanced. Conversely, mitigated negative effects significantly...

Aphids, a hemipteran group of insects pose serious threat to many the major crop species including Brassica oilseeds. Transgenic strategies for developing aphid-resistant plant types necessitate phloem-bound expression insecticidal genes. A few known phloem-specific promoters, in spite tissue-specific activity fail confer high level gene-expression. Here, we identified seven orthologues promoters B. juncea (Indian mustard), and experimentally validated their strength phloem exudates....

Lippia alba (Mill.) N.E.Br.ex Britton & P.Wilson is an aromatic shrub of Verbenaceae family. L. exhibits variability among its different accessions, showing difference in morphology and the composition essential oil. The objective this study was to chemically characterize evaluate antioxidant activity oil two morphotypes. oils were isolated by hydrodistillation using a Clevenger apparatus identification done through GC/GC-MS analysis. evaluated DPPH radical scavenging, Iron chelating...

The present study was carried out on onion cv. Nasik Red in a randomized block design with three replications. experiment comprised of nine treatments different nutrient sources including organic manures and inorganic fertilizers. effects (farmyard manure, vermicompost jeevamrut) alone conjugation fertilizers growth, uptake yield were studied. Integrated use manure significantly influenced plant by crop. results showed that highest number (7.4) length leaves (36.6 cm), bulb size (19 cm2),...
