There is little evidence about the association of pre-existing hepatitis C infection (HCV) with outcomes in patients coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).To assess prevalence history HCV among COVID-19 and to study relationship in-hospital mortality relation other predictors poor presence or absence induced acute liver injury. In a retrospective single-center design, 1193 were studied. Patients then classified into those without HCV, 50 (4.1%) 1157 (95.9%) respectively.Multivariate...

Wound contraction in humans has both positive and negative effects. It is beneficial to wound healing by narrowing the margins, but formation of undesirable scar contracture brings cosmetic even functional problems. The entire mechanism not clear yet, it at least considered that fibroblasts myofibroblasts are responsible for wounds. myofibroblast a cell possesses all morphologic biochemical characteristics fibroblast smooth muscle cell. Glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists (GLP-1 RA) are effective in diabetes and obesity, reducing hyperglycemia by increasing insulin release delaying gastric emptying. However, they can cause gastroparesis, raising concerns about aspiration during procedures. Recent guidelines advise discontinuing GLP-1 RA before surgery to reduce the risk of pulmonary aspiration.

Thyroid dysfunction has been reported to be an extrapulmonary symptom of COVID-19. It is important identify the tissue subset that expresses angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) and transmembrane protease serine (TMPRSS2), which are essential for host infection with severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2), in order understand viral pathogenesis COVID-19-related thyroid dysfunction. As large language models (LLMs) expand their sizes, conventional GPU-based LLM inference systems face memory bandwidth and capacity limitations. An accelerator using NAND flash storage has been proposed to overcome these challenges. However, this necessitates a significant expansion of channels ensure adequate for inference, subsequently escalating error correction code (ECC) costs. This paper examines the impact errors on accuracy explores possibility lightweight ECC by leveraging LLM's...
