This paper introduces a novel benchmark for efficient up-scaling as part of the NTIRE 2023 Real-Time Image Super-Resolution (RTSR) Challenge, which aimed to upscale images from 720p and 1080p resolution native 4K (×2 ×3 factors) in real-time on commercial GPUs. For this, we use new test set containing diverse ranging digital art gaming photography. We assessed methods devised SR by measuring their runtime, parameters, FLOPs, while ensuring minimum PSNR fidelity over Bicubic interpolation....

Abstract Background Tumor cell-induced platelet aggregation (TCIPA) is not only a recognized mechanism for paraneoplastic thrombocytosis but also potential breakthrough alternative low response to immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) in hematogenous metastasis of malignant melanoma (MM). However, there no TCIPA-specific model further investigation the relationship among TCIPA, tumor microenvironment (TIME), and metastasis. Methods We developed TCIPA metastatic with advanced enhanced...

Using nanomaterials to replace part of cement is one the effective ways enhance performance cement-based materials. In this study, response surface analysis method was used design an experiment. Through tests on mechanical properties, coefficient water saturation, shrinkage and high-temperature calcination materials, effects three factors, namely, substitution amount nano-zinc oxide for cement, nano-zirconia water–cement ratio, materials under different conditions were compared analyzed. The...

As a catadromous fish, Asian sea bass (Lates calcarifer) juveniles migrate from seawater (SW) to freshwater (FW) for growth and development. During migration, they undergo physiological changes acclimate environmental salinity. Thus, it is crucial understand how SW-to-FW migration affects the gut microbiota of fish. To best our knowledge, no study has revealed effects transfer hypotonic environments on fish microbiota. In this study, we aimed determine FW cytokine gene expression in...

This study investigated the therapeutic efficacy of Bu-Shen-Jiang-Ya decoction (BSJYD) on hypertensive renal damage to determine whether it regulates expression transforming growth factor-β (TGF-β)/SMADs signaling pathways, thereby relieving fibrosis in Dahl salt-sensitive (SS) rats. SS rats a high-sodium diet were prospectively treated with BSJYD (n = 12) or valsartan for 8 weeks. The blood pressure (BP) these was measured and their kidneys subjected biochemical analysis, including serum...

Abstract Background Osimertinib is regarded as a promising third-generation epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) for advanced non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients who developed T790M. However th e adverse effects, primarily fatigue, remain an overwhelming deficiency of Osimertinib, hindering it from achieving adequate clinical efficacy such NSCLC. Ganoderma lucidum has been used thousands years in China to combat while Lucidum spores...

Abstract Aims This study aimed to investigate the association of soluble suppression tumorigenicity‐2 (sST2) measured by point‐of‐care testing assay with clinical outcomes in patients hospitalized heart failure after adjusting for other predictors including N‐terminal pro‐B‐type natriuretic peptide (NT‐proBNP) and high‐sensitivity cardiac troponin T (hs‐cTnT). Methods A total 1726 consecutive from July 2015 December 2021 were enrolled. Baseline serum sST2 concentrations immunofluorescence...

Embodied cognition explores the intricate interaction between brain, body, and surrounding environment. The advancement of mobile devices, such as immersive interactive computing wireless electroencephalogram (EEG) has presented new challenges opportunities for studying embodied cognition. To address how technology within hybrid settings affects cognition, we propose a target detection multitask incorporating mixed body movement interference an environmental distraction light signal. We aim...

Abstract Background Extensive-stage small-cell lung cancer (ES-SCLC) is characterized by extensive metastases, aggressive progression, and poor prognosis. Chemotherapy applied as a preferred first-line regimen for ES-SCLC, but inadequate improving its overall survival. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) widely used in the clinical practice of ES-SCLC synergy with chemotherapy. However, there still no substantial evidence to prove that TCM can effectively improve long-term efficacy patients....

Right ventricular (RV)-pulmonary arterial uncoupling is the consequence of increased afterload and/or decreased RV contractility. However, combination elastance (Ea) and end-systolic (Ees)/Ea ratio to assess function unclear. We hypothesized that both could comprehensively refine risk stratification. The median Ees/Ea (0.80) Ea (0.59 mmHg/mL) were used classify 124 patients with advanced heart failure into four groups. systolic pressure differential was defined as (ESP) minus...
