Two novel 2-arylbenzofuran dimers, morusyunnansins A and B (1 2), two new biflavonoids, C D (3 4), flavans, E F (5 6), four known flavans (7-10) were isolated from the leaves of Morus yunnanensis. Compounds 5-8 showed potent inhibitory effects on mushroom tyrosinase with IC(50) values ranging 0.12 ± 0.02 to 1.43 0.43 μM.
2,4,2′,4′-Tetrahydroxy-3-(3-methyl-2-butenyl)-chalcone (TMBC), a naturally occurring compound from Morus nigra, modulated melanogenesis by inhibiting tyrosinase. TMBC inhibited the L-dopa oxidase activity of mushroom tyrosinase with an IC50 value 0.95±0.04 μM, which was more potent than kojic acid (IC50=24.88±1.13 μM), well-known inhibitor. The kinetic studies inhibition revealed that acts as competitive inhibitor substrate. Furthermore, effectively both cellular and melanin biosynthesis in...
Fibrinolysis, the natural process of blood clot dissolution regulated by plasmin, plays a crucial role in preserving vascular health. Nevertheless, if this becomes hyperactive, it can lead to severe bleeding episodes, particularly instances traumatic injuries. Conventional antifibrinolytics such as ε-aminocaproic acid (EACA) and tranexamic (TXA) exhibit limited impact attributed their modest potency. The substantial dosage volume necessary for effectiveness, along with safety concerns,...
Ten new isoprenylated flavonoids, nigrasins A−J (1−10), and three known compounds were isolated from the twigs of Morus nigra. Compounds 8 9 promoted adipogenesis, characterized by increased lipid droplet triglyceride content in 3T3L1 cells, induced up-regulation expression adipocyte-specific genes, aP2 GLUT4.
The therapeutic use of glimepiride and gliclazide shows substantial inter-individual variation in pharmacokinetics pharmacodynamics human populations, which might be caused by genetic differences among individuals. aim this study was to assess the effect CYP2C9 OATP1B1 polymorphisms on metabolism transport gliclazide. uptake measured OATP1B1*1a, *5 *15-HEK293T cells, their using CYP2C9*1, *2 *3 recombinase LC-MS. Glimepiride cells had Vmax values 155 ± 18.7, 80 9.6, 84.5 8.2 pmol/min/mg,...
Phytochemical investigation of the stem Morus notabilis led to isolation and characterization 10 compounds 2-arylbenzofurans (1–10), including two new compounds, (2′R)-2′,3′-dihydro-2′-(1-hydroxy-1-methylethyl)-2,6′-bibenzofuran-6,4′-diol (1) 5,6-dimethoxy-2-(3-hydroxy-5-methoxyphenyl)benzofuran (2). Moracins O (6) P (10) showed inhibitory effects on mushroom tyrosinase with IC50 values being lower than that kojic acid.
A new isoprenylated sanggenon-type flavanone, nigrasin K (1), together with three known analogs (2-4) and five Diels-Alder adducts (5-9), were isolated from the twigs of Morus nigra. Their structures elucidated by spectroscopic methods. Sanggenon M (2), chalcomoracin (5), sorocein H (6), kuwanon J (7), sanggenon C (8), O (9) showed significant inhibitory effects on mushroom tyrosinase.
Abstract Three new Diels-Alder adducts, macrourins E – G (1–3), one 2-arylbenzofuran, macrourin H (4), and eight known adducts (5–12) were isolated from Morus macroura. Their structures elucidated through extensive analysis of spectroscopic data. The 1H NMR ECD trends in the determination configurations these summarized. tyrosinase inhibitory activities all compounds evaluated, (1–4) as well found to be potent with IC50 values ranging 0.39 4.54 µM. Among them, 1 showed best activity an value...
A novel benzofuranone unprecedentedly with a prenyl group at C-3, nigranol (1), new flavonol, B (2), and three known compounds, sanggenon M (3), nigrasin C (4), (5) were isolated from the twigs of Morus nigra Linn. Their structures elucidated on basis analysis multiple spectroscopic data. All along eight previously ones (6-13) investigated for their α-glucosidase inhibitory activities. The result showed that compounds 1-13 except 4 exhibited prominent activities against α-glucosidase. Among...
A sensitive and specific liquid chromatography-electrospray ionization-mass spectrometry method for the identification quantification of pentoxyverine citrate guaifenesin in human plasma has been developed. After extraction from samples by ethyl acetate, internal standard analytes were separated high-performance chromatographic on a Shim-pack VP-ODS C(18) column (150 x 2.0 mm) using mobile phase consisting (methanol) B (0.4% glacial acetic acid 4 mmol/L ammonium acetate) (A:B, 43 : 57)....
Glibenclamide and glipizide show large substantial inter-individual variation in clinical efficacy, which may be resulted from the genetic differences of metabolic enzymes transporters individuals. This study purposed to investigate effect OATP1B3 CYP2C9 polymorphisms on transport metabolism glibenclamide human. An LC-MS method was used determine uptake OATP1B3, (344T > G) (699G A)-HEK293T cells their CYP2C9*1, *2 *3 recombinase system. can taken (wild-type), with Vmax values 44.91 ± 7.97,...
More than 7000 papers related to "protein refolding" have been published date, with approximately 300 reports each year during the last decade. Whilst some of these provide experimental protocols for protein refolding, a survey in structural life science communities showed necessity comprehensive database refolding techniques. We therefore developed new resource – "REFOLDdb" that collects techniques into single, searchable repository help researchers develop proteins interest. based our on...
