Abstract The nucleated isotactic polypropylene (iPP) was molded by water‐assisted injection molding. crystalline morphology and orientation distribution were studied. results show that shear brought melt filling pressurized water penetration can separately induce the formation of oriented structures in skin region (i.e., near mold cavity wall) channel region. Polyimide foams (PIF) contained carbon black were prepared from polyimide precursors by inflation process. The structure, compressive strength and heat-resistance of the PIF studied. FT-IR results confirmed successful synthesis PIF.
