Human APOBEC3G (hA3G) has been identified as an anti-HIV-1 host factor. The presence of hA3G in HIV-1 strongly inhibits the ability virus to produce new viral DNA upon infection. In this report, we demonstrate that reduction late synthesis is due inhibition by strand transfer steps occur during reverse transcription. Analysis cDNA intermediates vivo reveals causes minus and plus transfers, without having a significant impact on elongation. Using vitro system measure similarly shows...

Background Rabies is a lethal zoonotic disease that kills approximately 60,000 people each year. Although inactivated rabies vaccines are available, multiple-dose regimensare recommended for pre-exposure prophylaxis or post-exposure prophylaxis, which cuts down the cost- and time-effectiveness, especially in low- middle incomecountries. Methods We developed nucleoside-modified mRNA-lipid nanoparticle vaccine (RABV-G mRNA-LNP) encoding codon-optimized viral glycoprotein assessed immunogenicity...

ABSTRACT Factors that influence viability and function of cryopreserved peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) were identified on 54 samples from 27 AIDS Clinical Trial Units. PBMC ranged 1 to 96% with a median 70%, was higher in laboratories experienced staff, not significantly associated CD4 cell number. Function PBMC, measured by lymphocyte proliferation, viability. Preparations greater than or equal 70% had consistent proliferative responses suitable for functional analyses.

Zika virus (ZIKV) is an emerging mosquito-transmitted flavivirus that can cause severe disease, including congenital birth defect and Guillain−Barré syndrome during pregnancy. Although, several molecular diagnostic methods have been developed to detect the ZIKV, these pose challenges as they cannot early viral infection. Furthermore, require extraction of RNA, which easy contaminate. Nonstructural protein 1 (NS1) important biomarker for diagnosis virus, detection associated with NS1 recently...

An outbreak of dengue virus (DENV) occurred in Yunnan province. More than 2,000 individuals were infected from August to November 2013. In this study, we aimed characterize the origin and prevalence DENV Dehong prefecture province using phylogenetic evolutionary analyses strains collected local patients foreign travelers.A total 41 DENV-positive serum samples randomly travelers who entered China at Ruili port or with fever province, China. The envelope (E) gene was amplified sequenced....

Zika virus (ZIKV) is a mosquito-borne flavivirus that caused the public health emergency. Recently, we have proved novel small animal tree shrew was susceptive to ZIKV infection and presented most common rash symptoms as patients. Here further cultured primary cells from different tissues of this determine tissue tropism in vitro. The results showed kidney, lung, liver, skin aorta were permissive could support viral replication by detection specific RNA intra- extra-cells. In comparing,...

Animal models of Zika virus (ZIKV) infection have recently been established in mice, guinea pigs, and nonhuman primates. Tree shrews (Tupaia belangeri) are an emerging experimental animal biomedical applications, but their susceptibility to ZIKV has not explored. In the present study, we show that subcutaneous inoculation led rapid viremia viral secretion saliva, as well typical dermatological manifestations characterized by massive diffuse skin rash on trunk. Global transcriptomic...

Due to the open policy of Chinese government, a large number Burmese individuals enter China at land ports in Yunnan province for travel or business. However, situation HIV‐1 infection and its phylogenetic characteristics among these travelers remains unclear, which is potential threat public health. From January 2003 December 2012, total 1,961 were detected be positive between Myanmar province, China. 1153 (58.8%) them, we randomly collected 489 serum samples subtype/recombinant analysis....

Human immunodeficiency viruses (HIV)-induced cell fusion is a critical pathway of HIV spread from infected cells to uninfected cells. A rapid and simple assay was established measure HIV-induce fusion. This study particularly useful screen for inhibitors that block cell-to-cell transmission. Present demonstrated coculture HIV-infected with at 37 degree(s)C 2 hours resulted in the highest rate. Using this assay, we have identified several potent targeted gp41 core. These antiviral agents can...

Xishuangbanna is a popular tourist destination in southern Yunnan Province, bordering with Vietnam and Laos, Myanmar. There are more than 2 million cross‐border travelers annually entering China at two land ports, Daluo Mohan. To clarify the characteristics of HIV‐1 prevalence among entry travelers, retrospective epidemic investigation was conducted. Between 2003 2012, 196 91 432 were detected to be HIV‐1‐positive, accounting for infection rate 0.21%. Eighty‐one gag‐pol gene sequences...

In condition ignoring magnetic leakage and force uneven, we deduced static output displacement equation GMA. By establishing a mathematical model, get dynamic response time in rated electricity flowing down simulation. GMA has simple structure, good linear, enough displacement, high speed other significant advantages.
