The interaction between nutrition and immunity plays a vital role in nutrient digestion, absorption, metabolism during poultry production. Recent studies showed that the gut microbiota contributes to development of intestinal mucosal immunity. However, mechanisms by which microbes regulate this process remain unclear. We compared Arbor Acre broilers (AA (lower immunity) Chinese native Wuliang Mountain Black-bone chickens (WLMB) (higher using 16S rDNA sequencing, transcriptomic analysis,...
Deoxynivalenol (DON, Vomitoxin) is a threatening mycotoxin that mainly produces oxidative stress and leads to hepatotoxicity in poultry. Antioxidant dietary supplements dramatically boost immunity, safeguarding animals from DON poisoning. Luteolin (LUT) an active plant-derived compound poses influential antioxidants. This study explored the effectiveness of LUT combination with activated charcoal (AC) detoxifying broilers. The 180 one-day broiler chickens were allocated into five different...
Abstract The study was aimed to investigate the influence of animal age, post‐slaughter chilling rate, and aging time on meat quality M. longissimus dorsi (LD) water buffalo ( Bubalus bubalis ) humped cattle Bos taurus indicus bulls. After slaughtering, one side carcasses subjected rapid (RC) (0 ± 2°C) other hanged in controlled room temperature (25 for 3 hr, then allowed chiller 2°C). traits were analyzed at 1, 7, 14 days storage. It noted that rapidly chilled from younger animals both...
Amino acids play crucial roles in the MTOR (mechanistic target of rapamycin kinase) complex 1 (MTORC1) pathway. However, underlying mechanisms are not fully understood. Here, we establish a cell-free system to mimic activation MTORC1, by which identify CANX (calnexin) as an essential regulator for leucine-stimulated MTORC1 translocates lysosomes after leucine deprivation, and its loss function renders either activity or lysosomal translocation insensitive deprivation. We further find that...
Summary The effect of egg white protein (EWP) and β‐cyclodextrin (β‐CD) mixture was analysed on the myofibrillar proteins (MP) Culter alburnus during a frozen storage at −18 °C for 60 days. Different proportions EWP:β‐CD (0%, 2%, 4% 6%) were added into MP to analyse their against oxidative changes. During study, sulphydryl contents Ca‐ATPase activity (0.297 0.136 mmol g −1 ) decreased. Moreover, denaturation also prompted surface hydrophobicity (11.47 32.06 μg) carbonyls (26.36 49 mg.28 nmol...
Abstract Hemorrhagic septicemia is a fatal disease of cattle and buffalo all over the world, including Pakistan, it causes heavy economic losses every year. The poor farmers cannot bear this loss in form less milk production expenditures on animal treatment. An enriched alum-precipitated vaccine with reduced dose was prepared standardized, safety testing performed Swiss albino mice as well natural hosts. In experiment, total 36 both male female, different age groups ranging from 4 months to...
This study was conducted to determine the impact of adulteration on physico-chemical and coliforms content marketed raw milk. For this purpose, 300 milk samples were collected from urban peri-urban localities Jhang, Pakistan. The results showed that 13.3%, 9.7%, 9%, 8.3% 5.7% tested positive for cane sugar, formalin, boric acid, H2O2 urea, respectively besides highest water (95%). Other adulterants included soap (4.7%), sodium chloride (3.7%) quaternary ammonium compounds (3.3%). incidence...
