Abstract An asymmetric two‐step approach to chiral bridged tricyclic benzopyrans, core structures featured in various natural products, is described. In the synthesis, an unprecedented enantioselective catalytic decarboxylative Diels–Alder reaction developed using readily available coumarin‐3‐carboxylic acids and aldehydes as reactants under mild conditions. Notably, decarboxylation‐assisted release of catalyst enables process proceed efficiently with high enantio‐ diastereoselectivity....

Glutathione S-transferases (GSTs) play crucial roles in the detoxification process and development of drug-resistance are proved to be important markers for various tumors. Different from previous probes, we developed a fluorescent probe enabling detection intracellular GSTs low GSH level environment by pre-treatment cells with thiol-scavengers.

Abstract GSTP1 has been considered to be a marker for malignancy in many tissues. However, the existing GST fluorescent probes are unfavorable vivo imaging because of limited emission wavelength or insufficient fluorescence enhancement (six‐fold). The is mainly ascribed high background signals resulting from spontaneous reaction between GSH and probes. In this work, highly specific probe with NIR successfully developed through optimization essential unit repress reaction. novel exhibits over...
