Here, we present the results of synthesis, surface modification, and properties analysis magnetite-based nanoparticles, specifically Co0.047Fe2.953O4 (S1) Co0.086Fe2.914O4 (S2). These nanoparticles were synthesized using co-precipitation method at 80 °C for 2 h. They exhibit a single-phase nature crystallize in spinel-type structure (space group Fd3¯m). Transmission electron microscopy reveals that particles are quasi-spherical shape approximately 11 nm size. An observed increase saturation...
Herein we present the results of specific loss power (SLP) analysis polydisperse water based ferrofluids, Fe3O4/PEG200 and Fe3O4/PEG6000, with average Fe3O4 particle size 9 nm 11 nm, respectively. Specific was measured in alternating magnetic field various amplitudes at fixed frequency 580.5 kHz. Maximum SLP values acquired were 195 W/g for 60 Fe3O4/PEG6000 samples. The samples labeled as superparamagnetic by magnetization measurements, but dependence showed deviation from behavior predicted...
A method is described for quantitating caffeine, theobromine, theophylline, paracetamol, propyphenazone, acetylsalicylic acid, salicylic and codeine phosphate in corresponding real samples of food, beverages, natural products, pharmaceuticals, cosmetic preparations by micellar electrokinetic capillary chromatography. The separation carried out at 25°C 25 kV, using a 20mM buffer (pH 9.0), 80mM sodium dodecyl sulfate, 7.5% (v/v) acetonitrile.UV detection 210 nm.The shown to be specific,...
Aim: The objective was to formulate and characterize the nanoemulsion based on Cymbopogon citratus oil, intended for use in infected teeth root canal therapy. investigation of antioxidant antibiofilm potential toward Enterococcus faecalis aimed as well. Materials & methods: Characterization oil (by GC/MS analysis) dynamic light scattering instrument), determination antibacterial microdilution assay), crystal violet assay) properties 2,2-diphenyl-1-picryl-hydrazyl-hydrate thiobarbituric acid...
Ni-doped goethite (α-FeOOH) nanorods were synthesized from mixed Fe(III)-Ni(II) nitrate solutions with various Ni/(Ni+Fe) ratios (0, 5, 10, 20, 33 and 50 mol % Ni) by hydrothermal precipitation in a highly alkaline medium using the strong organic alkali, tetramethylammonium hydroxide (TMAH).Ni-doped hematite (α-Fe2O3) obtained calcination of at 400 °C.The Ni 2+ -for-Fe 3+ substitution was confirmed determination unit cell expansion (due to difference ionic radii Fe ) XRPD reduction hyperfine...
Radiolabeled magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) coated with hydrophilic phosphate ligands, i.e., imidodiphosphate (IDP) and inositol hexaphosphate (IHP), were developed as multifunctional agents to localize both radioactivity energy at a tumor site. The coating of MNPs phosphates made them biocompatible, increased their colloidal stability allowed binding the radionuclide 90Y available functional groups on surface MNPs. IDP IHP have not hitherto been used for results this study functionalized...
Nanocomposites (HAp/iron oxide), made of hydroxyapatite (HAp) and ferrimagnetic iron oxide, were synthesized by high-energy ball milling a mixture consisting oxide nanoparticles the starting materials used for HAp synthesis: calcium hydrogen phosphate anhydrous (CaHPO4), hydroxide (Ca(OH)2). Two HAp/iron samples with magnetic phase content 12 30 wt.% prepared their microstructure, morphology properties analysed X-ray diffraction transmission electron microscopy. Furthermore, measurement...
The 5-10 nm Ce(1-x)Eu(x)O(2-delta) (0 < or = x 0.30) nanoparticles with fluorite structure were synthesized by thermal decomposition of Eu- and Ce-2,4-pentanedione complexes mixtures. X-ray line broadening analysis mixed samples (0.05 showed that the crystallite size was lower root mean square strain higher than in pure ceria. However, within independent Eu3+ concentration. Raman spectroscopy results indicated europium ions yield disorder breaking phonon propagation therefore making...
Herein a comparative study of five nanocrystalline cerium oxides (CeO(2-delta)) synthesised by different methods and calcined at 500 degrees C is reported. XRPD analysis showed that stoichiometry parameter delta, crystallite size/strain lattice constant were only slightly affected the method utilized. All ceria nanoparticles are nearly spherical in shape with faceted morphology, free defects relatively uniform size distribution. The average microstrain was found to be approximately 10 times...
