Here, we present the results of synthesis, surface modification, and properties analysis magnetite-based nanoparticles, specifically Co0.047Fe2.953O4 (S1) Co0.086Fe2.914O4 (S2). These nanoparticles were synthesized using co-precipitation method at 80 °C for 2 h. They exhibit a single-phase nature crystallize in spinel-type structure (space group Fd3¯m). Transmission electron microscopy reveals that particles are quasi-spherical shape approximately 11 nm size. An observed increase saturation...

Herein we present the results of specific loss power (SLP) analysis polydisperse water based ferrofluids, Fe3O4/PEG200 and Fe3O4/PEG6000, with average Fe3O4 particle size 9 nm 11 nm, respectively. Specific was measured in alternating magnetic field various amplitudes at fixed frequency 580.5 kHz. Maximum SLP values acquired were 195 W/g for 60 Fe3O4/PEG6000 samples. The samples labeled as superparamagnetic by magnetization measurements, but dependence showed deviation from behavior predicted...

Radiolabeled magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) coated with hydrophilic phosphate ligands, i.e., imidodiphosphate (IDP) and inositol hexaphosphate (IHP), were developed as multifunctional agents to localize both radioactivity energy at a tumor site. The coating of MNPs phosphates made them biocompatible, increased their colloidal stability allowed binding the radionuclide 90Y available functional groups on surface MNPs. IDP IHP have not hitherto been used for results this study functionalized...

The 5-10 nm Ce(1-x)Eu(x)O(2-delta) (0 < or = x 0.30) nanoparticles with fluorite structure were synthesized by thermal decomposition of Eu- and Ce-2,4-pentanedione complexes mixtures. X-ray line broadening analysis mixed samples (0.05 showed that the crystallite size was lower root mean square strain higher than in pure ceria. However, within independent Eu3+ concentration. Herein a comparative study of five nanocrystalline cerium oxides (CeO(2-delta)) synthesised by different methods and calcined at 500 degrees C is reported. XRPD analysis showed that stoichiometry parameter delta, crystallite size/strain lattice constant were only slightly affected the method utilized. All ceria nanoparticles are nearly spherical in shape with faceted morphology, free defects relatively uniform size distribution. The average microstrain was found to be approximately 10 times...
