Cis (Z)-β-carotenes with 25.3% 9Z-β-carotene were prepared for nanostructured lipid carriers (NLCs). Optimization of total flavonoid extraction from Castor leaves using orthogonal test methodology with the factors ethanol concentration, temperature,extraction time,solid/liquid ratio on yield flavonoids were investigated.The results showed that optimum extracting conditions castor as follows: adding 1:40 g·mL -1 30% alcohol and for 30 min,extraction temperature 70°C. Orthogonal experiment optimization of microwave-assisted extraction (MAE) conditions total flavonoids from castor leaves with the factors ethanol concentration, microwave power, time, solid/liquid ratio on yield were studied.
