The development of covalent organic framework (COF) sonosensitizers with intrinsic sonodynamic effects is highly desirable. However, such COFs are generally constructed using small-molecule photosensitizers. Herein, we report that the reticular chemistry-based synthesis from two inert monomers yields a COF-based sonosensitizer (TPE-NN) inherent activity. Subsequently, nanoscale COF TPE-NN fabricated and embedded copper (Cu)-coordinated sites to obtain TPE-NN-Cu. Results show Cu coordination...
Abstract Residual tumor cells and bone tissue defects are two critical challenges in clinical osteosarcoma treatment. Herein, a subnanomedicine concept is proposed by developing self‐adaptive functional engineering scaffold constructed integrating MoO 3− x subnanometric wires onto 3D printing bioactive glass scaffolds. The synthesized one‐pot hydrothermal method, which aggregate an acidic microenvironment react with hydrogen peroxide to produce reactive oxygen species for specific...
ABSTRACT Objective Intermittent pneumatic compression (IPC) is considered the standard of care for preventing venous thromboembolism (VTE) in hospital setting. However, its widespread adoption after hospitalization has been limited due to shortcomings obstruction valves and blood reflux. The objective this study compare effects continuous graduated (CGPC), a new device with novel mechanism, IPC on lower hemodynamics incidence VTE patients undergoing arthroplasty. Methods We randomized 123...
Osteoporotic bone regeneration poses significant challenges due to the complexity of condition. Osteoporosis, a degenerative disorder, results from an imbalance in homeostasis driven by dysregulation osteoblast and osteoclast activity. This complicates treatment osteoporosis its related injuries clinical practice. Despite development various polymer scaffolds for defect repair, achieving effective osteoporotic bones-especially when combined with medications-remains difficult. In this study,...

The pharmacological interventions aimed at activating pathways inducing chondrocyte autophagy or reversing extracellular matrix degradation may be promising approaches for the management of osteoarthritis (OA). Evidence exists suggesting that sirtuin 1 (SIRT1) is involved in pathogenesis OA. present study to explore regulatory role and downstream mechanisms SIRT1 Bioinformatics predictions identified factors phosphatase tensin homolog (PTEN) epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) We...
Care for patients with peripheral nerve injury is multifaceted, as traditional methods are not devoid of limitations. Although the utilization neural conduits shows promise a therapeutic modality injury, its efficacy standalone intervention limited. Hence, there pressing need to investigate composite multifunctional conduit an alternative treatment injury. In this study, BDNF-loaded chitosan-based mimetic mussel polymer was prepared. Its unique adhesion characteristics allow it be...
Objectives Despite the use of multimodal analgesia, patients undergoing knee arthroplasty still encounter residual moderate pain. The addition betamethasone to local anesthetic has been shown improve postoperative However, it remains uncertain whether positive effects perineural or intravenous administration on analgesia outcomes lead better early mobility and recovery. Methods Between June 2022 February 2023, a total 159 who were included in this study. These allocated randomly into three...
Ewing sarcoma (ES) is the most common malignant bone tumor in children and young adults. It characterized by chromosomal translocations fusing EWS gene with an ETS oncogene, frequently FLI1. In present study, authors aimed to investigate function of EWS-FLI1 autophagy ES cells, identified that positively regulates cells. ATG4B expression was observed markedly upregulated overexpression, silencing dramatically inhibits Furthermore, apoptosis inhibited overexpressed ATG4B-potentiated required...
This prospective study aimed to compare the efficacy of a novel, hand-held, accelerometer-based navigation system (i-JOIN knee system) for distal femoral resection in total arthroplasty (TKA) with conventional instrument.A multi-center, double-blinded, randomized controlled trial (RCT) was conducted. A 79 consecutive patients scheduled primary TKA were enrolled and divided into group (39 patients) (40 patients). Post-operative mechanical component position evaluated through full-leg weight...
Bone cement releases a large amount of heat as it polymerizes. Skin burns caused by discarded bone are not well understood during arthroplasty. It is important to study the correlates and mechanisms scalding accurately evaluate severity guide treatment decisions.Standardized were created in eight anesthetized rabbits using different thicknesses cement. was uniformly stirred make 1 mm, 4 8 12 16 20 mm × 40 cuboid. samples then placed on back rabbit, temperature changes recorded with an...
Background and aim: Ewing sarcoma (ES) is an aggressive neoplasm predominantly occurring in adolescents has a poor prognosis when metastasized. In the current study, we were aiming to investigate function of TRIM3 autophagy ES cells. Methods: The expression tissues normal was examined by quantitative PCR western blot. effect on detected blot immunofluorescence assay. Target blot, immunoprecipitation ubiquitination Results: We found significantly up-regulated compared with tissues, this...
Simultaneous bilateral total hip arthroplasty (SI-THA) results in more blood loss and a greater need for postoperative allogeneic transfusion (ABT). Previous studies have reported that multimodal patient management (PBM) strategies were associated with smaller effect of intraoperative cell salvage (ICS) unilateral arthroplasty. However, there are few on the role ICS SI-THA. This study aims to explore PBM SI-THA identify risk factors ABT. retrospective matched cohort included 72 patients...
