Herein, we explored an unprecedented mild, nonirritating, conveniently available, and recyclable coupling reagent NDTP, which could activate the carboxylic acids via acyl thiocyanide enable rapid amide peptide synthesis at very mild conditions. In addition, methodology was compatible with Fmoc-SPPS, may provide alternative to manufacturing.

Abstract Cyclic peptides have attracted tremendous attention in the pharmaceutical industry owing to their excellent cell penetrability, stability, thermostability, and drug-like properties. However, currently available facile methodologies for creating such are rather limited. Herein, we report an efficient direct peptide cyclization via rhodium(III)-catalyzed C(7)-H maleimidation. Notably, this catalytical system has regioselectivity high tolerance of functional groups which enable...

Gently does it: Soft landing (SL) of mass-selected peptide ions can be used for preparation conformation-specific arrays on self-assembled monolayer surfaces. Deposition from solution results in formation a layer dominated by the β-sheet structure, whereas with SL, stable α-helical SAM surfaces is formed. With the growing popularity of serine/threonine ligation (STL) and cysteine/penicillamine (CPL) in chemical protein synthesis, facile general approaches for preparation peptide salicylaldehyde (SAL) esters are urgently needed, especially those viable obtaining expressed SAL esters. Herein, we report access ester surrogates from hydrazides (obtained either synthetically or recombinantly) via nitrite oxidation phenolysis by 3-(1,3-dithian-2-yl)-4-hydroxybenzoic acid (SAL(−COOH)PDT). The...

Abstract This study investigates whether firm dividend payout choices are influenced by the presence of a Dividend Reinvestment Plan ( DRIP ). Given that s help retain capital, we show dividend‐paying firms with will tend to pay high and maintain stable policy. Using multinomial logistic model, in comparison REITs without s, have higher ratio less likely to: (1) regular dividends extra share repurchases, (2) distribute dividends, repurchase shares, yet omit (3) all payouts. In addition, find...

Herein, the first example of a palladium-catalyzed Fujiwara-Moritani reaction for olefination tryptophan (Trp) residues, free from directing groups, was presented. The developed proceeds efficiently peptide modification, ligation and stapling.

Polyvinyl butyral (PVB) was used in the Al(OH)3/carbon black/ethanol slurries by three-roll mixing to prepare AlN powder using carbothermal reduction–nitridation (CRN) process experiments. The effects of PVB addition on synthesis were studied viscosity, tap density, XRD, SEM and TG measurements. results showed that layer covering surface Al(OH)3 particles reduced viscosity Al(OH)3/carbon/ethanol slurry increased dispersion homogeneity raw powder. densities mixtures after milling could be...

Rationale In‐depth characterization of the three capsid viral proteins (VPs 1, 2, and 3) adeno‐associated viruses (AAVs) is immediately needed to ensure consistency in gene therapy products processes. These are typically present at very low concentrations matrices containing high excipients salts. Thus, there a need for convenient methods sample preparation before proteomic analysis. The aim this study was meet by developing fast, reliable approach isolating VPs manner enabling their...
