Introduction. Complex childhood trauma (CCT) involves prolonged exposure to severe interpersonal stressors, leading deficits in executive functioning and self-regulation during adolescence, a critical period for neurodevelopment. While qEEG parameters, particularly alpha oscillations, have been proposed as potential biomarkers trauma, empirical documentation developmental samples is limited. Aim. This preregistered study investigated whether adolescents with CCT exhibit patterns similar...
Scientific theories reflect some of humanity's greatest epistemic achievements. The best motivate us to search for discoveries, guide towards successful interventions, and help explain organize knowledge. Such require a high degree specificity, which in turn requires formal modeling. Yet, psychological science, many are not precise scientists often lack the technical skills formally specify existing theories. This problem raises question: How can we promote theory development psychology,...
According to the justified true belief (JTB) account of knowledge, people can truly know something only if they have a that is both and (i.e., knowledge JTB). This was challenged by Gettier, who argued JTB does not explain attributions in certain situations, later called “Gettier-type cases,” wherein protagonists are believing be true, but their correct because luck. Laypeople may attribute with luckily beliefs. Although some research has found evidence for these so-called Gettier...
Active acromegaly is a rare chronic endocrine disorder caused by excessive growth hormone (GH). Clinical studies suggest that cognitive performance impaired in - particularly executive function as well short- and long-term memory. This study compared the quality of life (QoL) functioning patients vs healthy controls. This was an observational case-control on 38 subjects divided into 19 matched controls. The groups were evaluated for QoL, attention, function. All completed Acromegaly Quality...

According to the Justified True Belief account of knowledge (JTB), a person can only truly know something if they have belief that is both justified and true (i.e., belief). This was challenged by Gettier (1963), who argued JTB does not explain attributions in certain situations, later called Gettier-type cases, wherein protagonist believing be but their correct due luck. Lay people may attribute protagonists with luckily beliefs. While some research has found evidence for these so-called...
This paper presents the problem of minimizing energy consumption and maximizing lifetime in a many-to-one sensor network. In such network pattern, all nodes generate send data to single fixed base station (BS), via multi-hop transmissions. When have be forwarded BS routing, traffic pattern is highly non-uniform, putting high burden on close BS. Some strategies that balance ensure maximum by balancing load are proposed analyzed. The key element research use multiple transmission power levels....
