Methods We recruited seven from three different centres analyzed 30‐day morbidity mortality, oncological outcomes at 6 12 months. Results There was no postoperative mortality. Complications occurred two (28,6%). All completed least a 12‐months follow‐up. At 6‐month follow‐up, only one patient had recurrence. 12‐month died disease...
The aim of our study is to verify the feasibility and efficacy Onyx as embolization agent in treatment traumatic non-traumatic peripheral vascular lesions. In period between September 2006 March 2012, we treated with 26 patients (14 males/12 females; age range, 18-85 years old; mean age, 65 old), 11 which lesions 15 (9 neoplastic hemorrhagic lesions, 3 arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) aneurysms). Follow-up controls were performed clinical examination by multidetector computed tomography...

To evaluate the influence of Gd-DTPA on cartilage T2 mapping using turbo-mixed (tMIX) imaging, and to show possible usefulness tMIX technique for simultaneously acquiring T1 information in cartilage.Twenty volunteers underwent MRI knee sequence before after gadolinium administration. maps were calculated. The mean was determined pre- postcontrast maps. relaxation values administration statistically analyzed. The obtained are correspondence with previously published data. 449 msec +/- 34.2...
Secondary involvement of the right ventricle from leiomyosarcoma is rare. Scientific literature presents cases cardiac metastases extravascular leiomyosarcomas, most them uterine origin and cava vein leiomyosarcomas with direct intracardial extension. We present magnetic resonance (MR) images a 65-year-old man, which showed ventricular pulmonary left internal iliac leiomyosarcoma, identified completely removed 4 years before. At that time, patient presented severe oedema …
Background. The imaging of “plugoma” (or meshoma) has not been largely described in the literature and could conduct to misdiagnosis. Therefore, there is a need for surgeons radiologists further their knowledge about postsurgical anatomic alterations after hernia repair. Case presentation In this paper, we describe our finding right inguinal mass at CT scan 18F FDG PET/CT differential diagnosis with metastasis, which ultimately resulted plugoma. Conclusion Our imagining effort together...
Spontaneous hemorrhages of thyroid are rare events appearing sometimes in association with anticoagulant therapies single or multi-nodular gland. Other causes hemorrhage represented by iatrogenic lesions during fine needle aspiration (FNAC), direct traumatic and ruptured aneurism arteries. They mainly recognize a venous origin tend to limit themselves. Arterial bleeding that requires invasive treatment rare. Treatment depends on the severity disease may include partial total thyroidectomy....
