This article presents a cold-start linear branch flow model named modified DistFlow. In DistFlow, the active and reactive power are replaced by their ratios to voltage magnitude as state variables, so that errors introduced conventional linearization approaches due complete ignoring of network loss terms reduced. Based on path-branch incidence matrix, flows nodal magnitudes can be written in succinct matrix forms. Subsequently, proposed DistFlow is applied problem optimization...

Combined heat and electricity operation with variable mass flow rates promotes flexibility, economy, sustainability through synergies between electric power systems (EPSs) district heating (DHSs). Such combined presents a highly nonlinear nonconvex optimization problem, mainly due to the bilinear terms in model—that is, product of rate nodal temperature. Existing methods, such as optimization, generalized Benders decomposition, convex relaxation, still present challenges achieving...

Abstract Objectives The aim of this study was to determine the status tertiary lymphoid structures (TLSs) using radiomic features in patients with invasive pulmonary adenocarcinoma (IA). Methods In retrospective study, IA from November 2015 March 2024 were recruited two independent centers (center 1, training and internal test data set; center 2, external set). TLS divided into groups according hematoxylin-eosin staining. Radiomic extracted, support vector machine (SVM) implemented predict...

Endometrial cancer (EC) is a prevalent gynecologic malignancy where accurate grading and assessment are crucial for determining prognosis treatment strategies. Conventional MRI techniques, including apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) T2-weighted imaging, often fail to capture the detailed microstructural complexities of EC. To evaluate efficacy relaxation correlated spectroscopic imaging (DR-CSI) in assessing EC compare its diagnostic performance with conventional ADC imaging. Sixty-two...

Mode transition induced of gliding studied in this work and effects gas flow rate, applied voltage, electrode parameters on mode were studied. Experimental results show that there are two typical modes during development arc. A comprises periodicitical from minimum gap breakdown to longest extinguishment, while B continues produce at ends electrodes. As rate...

Based model, three types equations, namely, power flow network and equations are presented allocate losses. By introducing path-branch incidence matrix, all can be in analytical forms for generalized radial distribution network. results IEEE 33-bus system show that: firstly, more accurate than DistFlow; secondly, decoupling losses by within an acceptable...

Based on results two price mechanisms, distribution locational marginal (DLMP) and (DLP), are analyzed. For DLMP, an explicit method developed calculate loss that does not require backward/forward sweep algorithm thus reduces computational complexity. In this paper, we propose a convex planning model of integrated heat and electricity systems considering variable mass flow rates. The main challenge comes from the non-convexity bilinear terms in district heating network, i.e., product rate nodal temperature. To resolve issue, first reformulate network through equivalent transformation substitution. It shows that reformulated has only one set nonconvex constraints with reduced others are linear constraints. Such reformulation not guarantees...
