This study aimed to investigate the correlation between conventional ultrasound and contrast-enhanced (CEUS) features lateral lymph node metastasis (LLNM) in papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC), establish a predictive model, provide imaging evidence for clinical diagnosis treatment. selected 428 patients with postoperative pathologically confirmed PTC, who had undergone cervical dissection, from September 2020 August 2021 at First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University. According...

Intervertebral disc degeneration (IVDD) is a prevalent musculoskeletal disorder that involves the excessive accumulation of reactive oxygen species (ROS), resulting in mitochondrial dysfunction and matrix metabolism imbalance nucleus pulposus cells (NPCs). Selenium, an indispensable trace element, plays crucial role maintaining redox homeostasis by being incorporated into antioxidant selenoproteins as selenocysteine. In this study, we employed straightforward synthesis method to produce...

Abstract The Huanghe once had a sediment flux of >1,000 Mt/yr, but this has decreased by ∼90% as its river routing systems have undergone dramatic changes influenced human activities such dam construction. However, the way in which geochemistry responded to altered processes is not well known. This study investigates source‐to‐sink regime River using Nd isotope fingerprinting. Four major source terranes, namely Songpan‐Ganzi (SG) Block, Ordos Desert (OD), Chinese Loess Plateau (CLP) and...

CA125 is recommended by many countries as the primary screening test for ovarian cancer. But there are patients with cancer having normal CA125. We hope to identify types of EOC levels better building a refined model based on ultrasound radiomics, thus providing precise medical treatment patients.

Abstract Background: Cancer-associated cachexia (CAC) arises from malignant tumors and leads to a debilitating wasting syndrome. In the pathophysiology of CAC, depletion fat performs significant function. The mechanism CAC-induced loss includes enhancement lipolysis, inhibition lipogenesis, browning white adipose tissue (WAT), however, few lipid-metabolic enzymes have been reported be involved in CAC. This study hypothesized that Elovl6, critical enzyme for elongation fatty acids, may...
