We report on a search for the decay KL→π0ν¯ν, carried out as part of E799-II, rare KL experiment at Fermilab. Within standard model, KL→π0ν¯ν is dominated by direct CP violating processes, and thus an observation implies confirmation violation. No events were observed, we set upper limit branching ratio to be <5.9×10−7 90% confidence level.Received 8 July 1999DOI:https://doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevD.61.072006©2000 American Physical Society

Electrical spin injection experiments are performed at 1.5 K in a new hybrid structure, In0.75Ga0.25As two-dimensional electron gases with lateral Co0.8Fe0.2 electrodes. From the electrode spacing (\lesssim9 µm) dependence of spin-valve signals nonlocal regime, we obtained very promising results such as longer diffusion length Ls ∼5.1 µm and higher polarization η ∼5.7% than those former reports. They mainly attained by suppression D'yakonov–Perel' relaxation process due to tuned spin–orbit couplings.
