The aim of this study is to evaluate molecules involved in oxidative stress (OS), inflammation, angiogenesis, and apoptosis, discern which these are more likely be implicated proliferative diabetic retinopathy (PDR) macular edema (DME) by investigating the correlation between them plasma (PLS) vitreous body (VIT), as well examining data obtained from ophthalmological examinations. Type 2 (T2DM) patients with PDR/DME (PDRG/DMEG; n = 112) non-DM subjects surrogate controls (SCG 48) were...

The nature the histiocytoid infiltrate has generated considerable controversy in literature. The main goal this study was to conduct comprehensive overview immunohistochemical phenotype We also analyze whether more frequently associated with hematologic malignancies than classic syndrome. This retrospective case series clinicopathologic, immunohistochemical, and molecular features 33 patients clinicopathologic diagnosis...

CD30-positive primary cutaneous lymphoproliferative disorders include several entities with differing clinical presentation but overlapping histological features, including lymphomatoid papulosis and anaplastic large cell lymphoma (C-ALCL). DUSP22-IRF4 locus translocation is present in 20-57% of C-ALCLs, has also been described a series 11 patients, where it was associated particular biphasic pattern, pagetoid reticulosis-type epidermal infiltration. We aimed to study whether the presence...

We have found a previously undescribed histopathologic feature of necrobiosis lipoidica diabeticorum among 310 biopsied cases: lymphoid nodules. This does not correlate with unique clinical lesions or forms the disease. The nodules are similar in appearance to those other chronic dermal inflammations.
