The infrared spectra of some thiohydroxamic acids (I) and their deuterated compounds were investigated compared with those O-methylthiohydroxamic (II). It was concluded that I exist in thione-form the solid state but both thiol thione tautomers liquid or solution, which polar solvents favor former tautomer, whereas II occur thiol-form all states.
