A new method has been developed to prepare exfoliated poly(methyl methacrylate)/clay nanocomposites by in situ polymerization of methyl methacrylate (MMA) the presence triethylaluminum (TEA)-modified clay. The dispersed behavior clay PMMA matrix is identified using X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and UV/vis spectroscopy. PMMA/clay are found retain over 80% transparency, important for optical applications. Compared neat PMMA, all these show enhancement glass...

This study aims to prepare a supported catalyst based on zeolite Y doped with NaOMe (sodium methoxide) for the transesterification of waste cooking oil (WCO). The catalytic screening data showed that NaOMe/zeolite is prominent WCO prepared by solvent-free, ball-milling process. We initially tested 5–20% sodium methoxide loading onto and found 20% optimum reaction. reaction required comparatively lower methanol-to-oil mole ratio 16:1 temperature as 60 °C. ball-milled was characterized BET...
