The 8th International Comparison of Absolute Gravimeters (ICAG2009) took place at the headquarters Bureau Weights and Measures (BIPM) from September to October 2009. It was first ICAG organized as a key comparison in framework CIPM Mutual Recognition Arrangement Committee for (CIPM MRA) 1999). ICAG2009 composed Key (KC) defined by MRA, Consultative Mass Related Quantities (CCM) designated CCM.G-K1. Participating gravimeters their operators came national metrology institutes (NMIs) or (DIs)...
We present the results of third European Comparison Absolute Gravimeters held in Walferdange, Grand Duchy Luxembourg, November 2011. Twenty-two gravimeters from both metrological and non-metrological institutes are compared. For first time, corrections for laser beam diffraction self-attraction implemented. The gravity observations also corrected geophysical changes that occurred during comparison using a superconducting gravimeter. show these improve degree equivalence between gravimeters....
Quantum gravimeters have been in use as laboratory instruments by various research groups for some time and available user-friendly commercial devices since 2014. In contrast to traditional absolute such the FG5, which employ corner cubes a falling test mass, these utilise laser-cooled cold-atom clouds. The Absolute Gravimeter (AQG) produced French company Exail is two model series: indoor observatory (A-series) outdoor capable (B-series).In this contribution, we present results of world's...
In November 2013 an International Key Comparison, CCM.G-K2, was organized in the Underground Laboratory for Geodynamics Walferdange. The comparison has assembled 25 participants coming from 19 countries and four different continents. divided into two parts: key that included 10 NMIs or DIs, pilot study including all participants. global result given by confirms instruments are absolutely coherent to each other. results obtained confirm a good agreement between NMI instruments.
In the framework of regional EURAMET.M.G-K2 comparison absolute gravimeters, 17 gravimeters were compared in November 2015. Four from different NMIs and DIs, they used to link CCM.G.K2 by means linking converter. Combined least-squares adjustments with weighted constraint was determine KCRV. Several pilot solutions are presented official solution demonstrate influences approaches (e.g. definition weights constraint) on results adjustment. case solution, all equivalence declared...
The regional key comparison of absolute gravimeters, EURAMET.M.G-K3 and the simultaneously organized additional comparison, was held in Germany at Geodetic Observatory Wettzell German Federal Agency for Cartography Geodesy spring 2018. Here we present list participants who actually performed measurements during data submitted by operators as well results determination gravity a function height sites. measurement strategy is briefly discussed harmonization documented. Finally, constrained...
During November 2011 a EURAMET key comparison of absolute gravimeters was organized in the Underground Laboratory for Geodynamics Walferdange, Luxemburg. The assembled 22 participants coming from 16 countries and four different continents. divided into two parts: that included six National Metrology Institutes or Designated Institutes, pilot study including all participants. global result given by confirms instruments are absolutely coherent with each other. results obtained confirm good...
The evolution of the Earth’s surface is driven by external and internal forces, latter which can only be studied indirectly. Knowledge about structure interior very important for modeling predicting processes occurring at surface. This study presents a new concept joint analysis gravimetric seismometric recordings earthquakes determining seismic Earth down to depth 1250 km. proposed method allows use data without known full transfer function instrument. Group velocity dispersion curves...
