Clinical Practice Guidelines for Pancreatic Cancer was first published in 2006 by the Japan Pancreas Society, and revised 2009, 2013, 2016, 2019. In July 2022, newly Japanese. For this revision, we developed an entirely new guideline according to Minds Manual Guideline Development 2020, which includes concepts of GRADE-Grading Recommendations Assessment, Development, Evaluation, enable a better understanding current guidelines. Patients public were actively involved both development...

Late Jurassic to Early Cretaceous (Mesozoic) magnetic anomaly lineations (the Phoenix, Magellan, Mid-Pacific Mountains, Hawaiian and Japanese lineation sets) with fracture zones in the west-central Pacific Ocean were identified more comprehensively than any previous studies. We fixed 2100 positions of anomalies based on data 283 cruise tracks. Two remarkable zones, Phoenix Central Fracture Zones, mapped newly named. Our from M10N M0 around which belong set, illustrated that sea-floor south...

A spectral atmospheric general circulation model called AFES (AGCM for Earth Simulator) was developed and optimized the architecture of Simulator (ES). The ES is a massively parallel vector supercomputer that consists 640 processor nodes interconnected by single stage crossbar network with its total peak performance 40.96 Tflops. sustained 26.58 Tflops achieved high resolution simulation (T1279L96) utilizing full 640-node configuration ES. resulting computing efficiency 64.9% performance,...

Substance P (SP), S-100 protein, methionine-enkephalin, serotonin and myelin basic protein were studied in two solitary glomus tumours of the skin by peroxidase-antiperoxidase immunohistochemistry. Multiple SP-containing nerve fibres distributed parenchyma tumour among proliferating cells, oedematous stroma tumour. Positive staining for was detected fascicles capsule tumour, but not within immunoreactivity found addition, a few cells positive scattered throughout No methionine-enkephalin...

We describe a patient with syncope associated swallowing. This was caused by transient compression of the left atrium (LA) an esophageal hiatal hernia. Two‐dimensional echocardiography demonstrated hyperechoic mass compressing LA from posterior. With air insufflation esophagus, this hernia sac seen to increase. Pulsed and color Doppler revealed greatly decreased velocity blood flowing into ventricle (LV). Thus, marked can cause impeding flow LV. Echocardiography proved highly useful in...

Cultured epithelial autografts (CEA) with highly expanded mesh skin grafts were used for extensive adult burns covering more than 30% of the total body surface area. A prospective study on eight patients assessed subjective and objective findings up to a 12-month follow-up. The results wound healing over 1:6 plus CEA, gap 1:3 compared at 3, 6, 12 months using extensibility, viscoelasticity, color, transepidermal water loss by generalized estimating equation (GEE) or linear mixed model...

SoxR is a transcription factor triggered by oxidative stress in Escherichia coli . Recent evidence suggests that novel redox regulation couples oxidation state to promoter activation. We have isolated the reductase for E. using an assay of NADPH‐ and SoxR‐dependent cytochrome c activity. When purified protein was incubated anaerobic reaction mixture containing NADPH, reduction [2Fe‐2S] cluster observed optical EPR spectroscopy. Our results indicate serves as NADPH‐dependent system SoxR.

Abstract Poly‐2‐(2‐azido‐5‐nitrobenzoyloxy)ethylmethacrylate (P‐II‐A) and poly‐2‐(4‐azido‐3‐nitrobenzoyloxy)ethylmethacrylate (P‐II‐B) were synthesized from the reactions of 2‐hydroxyethylmethacrylate with 2‐chloro‐5‐nitrobenzoic acid 4‐chloro‐3‐nitrobenzoic acid, respectively, by substitution sodium azide corresponding chloronitrobenzoyl group. In addition, degradation reaction 2‐azido‐5‐nitrobenzoyl group in P‐II‐A transformation 4‐azido‐3‐nitrobenzoyl to 5‐carboxylbenzofurazane‐1‐oxide...
