Abstract OBJECTIVES The European Congenital Heart Surgeons Association Cardiac Database (ECHSA CCDB), growing steadily over 25 years is the second largest in world and In this study we summarize overall outcomes of paediatric congenital cardiac procedures, stratified by age groups, benchmark procedure report on observed trends. METHODS All data from 1999 until August 2024 are analyzed outcome parameters hospital mortality (HM), 30-days (30d-M) Length stay (LOS) reported. Outcomes origin...

The coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic currently gripping the globe is impacting entire health care system with rapidly escalating morbidities and mortality. Although infectious risk to pediatric population appears low, effects on children congenital heart (CHD) remain poorly understood. closure of surgery programs worldwide address growing number infected individuals could have an unintended impact future for COVID-19-negative patients CHD. Pediatric surgeons, given their small...

Objectives We sought to determine the indications, type, and outcomes of reoperations on aortic root after repair tetralogy Fallot (TOF). Methods Eleven centers belonging European Congenital Heart Surgeons Association contributed data collection process. included 36 patients who underwent surgical procedures root, including surgery valve ascending aorta, between January 1975 December 2017. Original diagnoses TOF-pulmonary stenosis (n = 18) atresia 18). The main indications for reoperation...

Background: Anomalous aortic origin of a coronary artery (AAOCA) is congenital heart disease with 0.3%−0.5% prevalence. Diagnosis challenging due to nonspecific clinical presentation. Risk stratification and treatment are currently based on expert consensus single-center case series. Methods: Demographical data AAOCA patients from 17 tertiary-care centers were analyzed. Diagnostic imaging studies (Bidimensional echocardiography, computed tomography angiography [CCTA] collected. Clinical...

Aortopulmonary window (APW) is an abnormal congenital connection between the main pulmonary artery (MPA) and ascending aorta, with intact aortic valves, leading to heart failure or, if not repaired early, vascular obstructive disease. We report rare case of asymptomatic adult unrestrictive APW, whose arterial hypertension was remarkably still reversible, permitting successful repair.

Irrotational flow is described with the second order elliptic partial differential equation $E^2\psi=0,$ where $\psi$ function to be derived and $E^2$ Stokes operator. In present paper we derive solution of $E^2\psi=0$ in three axisymmetric system coordinates: parabolic, tangent sphere cardioid. We prove that separates variables parabolic coordinate system, but it R-separates other two. At end this manuscript summarize all known results for 0-eigenspace coordinates.
