Abstract Umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal stem cells (UC-MSCs) have been proved a promising clinical strategy for the treatment of diabetes, and time in range (TIR) has demonstrated new metric glycemic control links to diabetes complications. To further assess therapeutic effect UC-MSCs on TIR, phase II study investigating efficacy Chinese adults with type 2 (T2D) assessed by retrospective continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) was conducted. In this randomized placebo-controlled trial, total...

Studies have demonstrated the relationship between fatty liver index (FLI) and metabolism, while few research reported its with hyperuricemia (HUA). This study aimed to predict HUA by determining baseline FLI events validating FLI-HUA correlation through follow-up.This was a community-based cohort involving 8851 adults in China. We performed anthropometric assessments analyzed follow-up blood samples. defined as uric acid level of > 420 µmol/L (7 mg/dL).Patients had higher prevalence...

Functional pancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (PanNENs) are very rare disorders but have complex spectrum, including insulinoma, gastrinoma, glucagonoma, somatostatinoma, and VIPoma. Patients with PanNENs usually present characteristic symptoms caused by corresponding hormone hypersecretion. It has always been challenging in dealing such complicated disorders. In this report, we analyzed the clinical characteristics of functional a large cohort Chinese patients summarized our experience...

Kallmann syndrome, a form of idiopathic hypogonadotropic hypogonadism, is characterized by developmental abnormalities the reproductive system and abnormal olfaction. Despite association certain genes with genetic inheritance expression are complex incompletely known. In present study, seven syndrome pedigrees in an ethnic Han Chinese population were screened for mutations. The exons intron–exon boundaries 19 hypogonadism (idiopathic hypogonadism)-related sequenced. Detected mutations also...

Primary bilateral macronodular adrenocortical hyperplasia (PBMAH) is a rare condition with untypical subclinical symptoms of Cushing's syndrome (CS). This study aimed to compare the clinical and pathological features PBMAH unilateral cortisol-secreting adrenal adenoma (UAA).We prospectively included 46 patients 205 UAA from January 2000 February 2014. Cortisol levels 24 hours urine free cortisol (UFC) were determined at baseline during dexamethasone suppression test (DST) using...

Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL) can involve extralymphatic organs, resulting in diverse clinical manifestations, especially if the endocrine organs are affected. This type of involvement often be difficult to detect accurately. Until now, no patients with NHL and concomitant bilateral adrenal hypothalamic have been reported. Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) can regulate the expression of genes at almost every level. The altered lncRNAs was observed in many kinds cancers. Until recently, few studies have focused on function context papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC).In current study, we collected seven PTC and nodular goiter tissue samples explored mRNA lncRNA patterns these by microarray. We aberrant 94 99 mRNAs as compared to [fold change (FC) ≥2.0; P<0.01].
