Congenital heart defects (CHD), as the most common congenital anomaly, have been reported to be frequently associated with pathogenic copy number variants (CNVs). Currently, patients CHD are routinely offered chromosomal microarray (CMA) testing, but diagnostic yield of CMA on has not extensively evaluated based a large patient cohort. In this study, we retrospectively assessed detected CNVs in total 514 cases (a 422-case clinical cohort from Boston Children's Hospital (BCH) and 92-case...
Abstract A series of coumarin‐1,3,5‐triazine derivatives were designed, synthesized and evaluated as acetylcholinesterase inhibitors. The structures those compounds characterized by IR, NMR, HRMS, HPLC, X‐ray. are the mixtures two geometric isomers. 1 H‐NMR compound 3 g without coumarin structure its hydrochloride single crystal studied to prove butyrylcholinesterase inhibitory activities determinated Ellman's method. results showed that all could inhibit selectively. Among them, b was found...
The genus Pimoa Chamberlin & Ivie, 1943, is highly diverse and currently contains 85 species, of which 67 are distributed in Asia. In this study, a new species described from Southwest China: P. shimian Wang, Yao Zhang, sp. nov. (♂♀). This closely related to bomi Zhang Li, 2021, reniformis Xu 2007. taxonomic keys for distinguishing these three distribution map all Asian pimoids also provided.
China exhibits remarkable diversity of the spider genus Belisana Thorell, 1898, with 62 species recorded to date. However, largest number was found in Yunnan Province (23 ssp.), while only seven were Guizhou Province. In this paper, wangchengi sp. nov. as a new is described from Province, China.
Haloxylon ammodendron, Calligonum mongolicum, Elaeagnus angustifolia, and Populus hosiensis had different adaptations to limited water availability, high temperature, irradiance. C. mongolicum used more efficiently than did the other species. Because of low transpiration rate (E) potential, H. ammodendron loss suitable for desert conditions. Water use efficiency (WUE) was in E. but E larger leaf area made this species mesic habitats; consequently, is important tree shelterbelts. P. WUE, E,...
The present study investigated the effect of supplementing feed with transgenic Synechocystis sp. PCC6803 containing Paralichthys olivaceus growth hormone (GH) gene on growth, intake and efficiency ratio, muscle composition, haematology histology turbot (Scophthalmus maximus L.). At end 40-day feeding trial, specific rate fish fed supplemented 1.0% was 21.67% higher (P<0.05) than that control fish. Although body weight ratio significantly increased in diet alga, condition factor experimental...
The withdrawal of the Tethys Sea and formation Alpine‐Himalayan orogenic belt profoundly impacted distribution composition terrestrial biota in Eurasia. However, studies that have explicitly addressed potential links between series tectonic activities Tethyan region extratropical biodiversity hotspots are rare. Spiders genus Pireneitega (Agelenidae) found throughout Eurasia show high species richness these hotspots. Thus, spiders may serve as a model group to shed light on how past events...
We examined differences in net photosynthetic rate (PN), transpiration (E), water use efficiency (WUE), ratio of substomatal to atmospheric CO2 concentration (Ci/Ca), cuticle thickness (CT), epidermis cell size (ECS), mesophyll (MCS), vascular bundle (VBS), tissue density (TD), and coefficient loss (k) Sabina vulgaris as related sex, shoot form, leaf form. PN, E, WUE, Ci/Ca, MCS, VBS, k varied with whereas CT, ECS, TD did not. These physiology anatomy between the female male plants may be...
Abstract Twenty‐four genistein‐ O ‐1,3,5‐triazine derivatives were designed, synthesized and evaluated as multi‐functional anti‐Alzheimer agents. These compounds confirmed by IR, NMR HRMS single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction studies. Most target showed good inhibition selectivity to acetylcholinesterase. Among these compounds, compound 4 e (7‐((4‐chloro‐6‐(diisobutylamino)‐1,3,5‐triazin‐2‐yl)oxy)‐5‐hydroxy‐3‐(4‐hydroxyphenyl)‐4H‐chromen‐4‐one) exhibited the strongest acetylcholinesterase with IC...
Abstract Lysozyme enzymes provide classic examples of molecular adaptation and parallel evolution, however, nearly all insights to date come from chicken-type (c-type) lysozymes. Goose-type (g-type) lysozymes occur in diverse vertebrates, with multiple independent duplications reported. Most mammals possess two g-type lysozyme genes (Lyg1 Lyg2), the result an early duplication, although some lineages are known have subsequently lost one copy. Here we examine evolution across >250...
Nine new Pireneitega species collected from Xinjiang, China are described as to science: P. burqinensis sp. n. (♂♀), fuyunensis gongliuensis huochengensis lini (♀), liui wensuensis (♂), wui (♂) and yaoi (♀). DNA barcodes were obtained for all these future use.
Two new species of the spider genus Pimoa Chamberlin & Ivie, 1943 are described from Hunan and Yunnan Provinces, China: P.binchuanensissp. nov. (♂♀) P.xinjianensissp. (♂♀). In addition, male P.lata Xu Li, 2009 is for first time. The DNA barcodes two documented.
Two new species of the genus Sarothrogammarus Martynov, 1935 are described and illustrated from Pakistan. miandamensis sp. nov. is characterized by oval eyes; pereopod III having filtrative setae on merus, carpus propodus; uropod terminal article distinct inner ramus scale-shaped; robust slender urosomites I–III. kalamensis can be distinguished above but few propodus. Detailed morphological characteristics, as well comparisons with closely related provided. Molecular phylogenetic analyses...
Baiyuerius Li, Zhao & Li gen. n., a new genus of the subfamily Coelotinae F. O. Pickard-Cambridge, 1893 is described, including five species: B. daxi sp. n. (♀), pindong (♂), tamdao zhuping and zuojiang (♂♀), from southern China north Vietnam. Our molecular analysis supports as monophyletic sister group newly established Yunguirius .
