Haloschizopera cheni sp. n., was recognized from our latest collections the East China Sea. The new species is similar to H. abyssi Becher, 1974 but differs it by following combined features: baseoendopodal lobe of female P5 with five setae, P2 and P3 enp-3 both longer than enp-1-2 combined, caudal rami broad. Comparison all known performed. Species in genus can be divided into four groups setal formulae P4. main diagnostic characters each are listed a key also provided.

Both sexes of a new species, Stylicletodes wellsi sp. nov. (Harpacticoida: Cletodidae), are described from material collected sediments in the East China Sea. The species belongs to group whose members characterized by an anal operculum that has backwardly directed, median linguiform process and fifth legs display naked or sparsely pinnate armature elements both sexes. Within this group, S. is morphologically closest reductus Wells, 1965 but differs primarily its European congener pattern P4...

Abstract Background Since the 2019-nCoV (COVID-19) outbreaks in Wuhan, China, cumulative number of confirmed cases is increasing every day, and a large populations all over world are at risk. The quarantine traffic blockage can alleviate risk epidemic infections, henceforth evaluating efficacy such actions essential to inform policy makers raise public awareness importance self-isolation quarantine. Method We collected case data migration data, introduced factor Flow-SEIR model. By varying...

ABSTRACT Since December 1, 2019, the spread of COVID-19 is increasing every day. It particularly important to predict trend epidemic for timely adjustment economy and industries. We proposed a Flow-SEHIR model in this paper perform trends 2019-nCoV (COVID-19) China. The results show that number daily confirmed new cases reaches inflection point on Feb. 6 – 10 outside Hubei. For maximum temporal infected number, predicted peak value China except Hubei was estimated be 21721 (95% CI: 18764 -...

Abstract Background It is known that long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) PTCSC3 involved in thyroid cancer and glioma, but its function osteoporosis unknown. The aim of our study was to investigate the role lncRNA osteoporosis. Methods A total 80 patients with (4 clinical stages) four corresponding groups healthy controls were enrolled. Plasma levels volunteers measured using RT-qPCR. diagnostic potential plasma for evaluated by ROC curve analysis as true negative cases positive cases. Results...

The structure of macrobenthic communities in island intertidal zones serves as an important indicator for assessing the health status ecosystems. In recent years, unregulated and extensive development utilization resources China, coupled with continuous deterioration ecological environment surrounding marine areas islands, have significantly impacted stability Four investigations during spring (2018, 2021) autumn (2017, 2020) Niushan Island waters, located off coast Taizhou, Zhejiang, were...

The comparison of trophic structure and energy flow between natural artificial reefs is imperative to evaluate whether these man-made structures work similarly comparable reefs. Here, characterize the potential difference in functioning two types reef ecosystems, models (Ecopath) at an adjacent on coast north Yellow Sea, China, were established. Both Ecopath divided into 18 functional groups from primary producers (algae phytoplankton) detritus predatory species (e.g., Sebastes schlegelii )....

Water quality in Hangzhou Bay is inferior (grade 5) because of discharged from Yangtze River and Qiantang River, factories around the bay. This study analyzed relationships between environment macrobenthic communities at 44 stations throughout Bay, based on samples collected 2006, 2016–2018, 2021. Long-term spatial temporal changed macrobenthos, influence secondary water fronts community composition, were discussed. Macrobenthos Estuary was numerically, primarily dominated by crustaceans,...

Abstract: Spartina alterniflora is one of the most invasive plants on Chinese tidal flats. To explore responses macrobenthic communities to removal S. and restoration flats, a survey sediment environmental factors was carried out in June 2022 mudflat recovery area (MRA) flats south bank Hangzhou Bay, China. A proximate natural (NMA), (SAA) Scirpus mariqueter (SMA) were selected for comparison with MRA. total 48 species identified, 13, 28, 22 21species MRA, NMA, SAA SMA, respectively....
