A new species of hippolytid shrimp, Hippolyte ngi n. sp., is described and illustrated based on specimens collected from the Indo-West Pacific region. The clearly belongs to 'Hippolyte ventricosa H. Milne Edwards, 1837' complex, but distinguished its congeners by dactylus last three pereiopods, position hepatic spine, proportions segments antennular peduncle, other subtle constant features.

A new species of scale-worm, Lepidonotopodium okinawae sp. nov. from the Okinawa Trough is described. The differs other by having 24 segments and numerous foveolae on surface elytra with one globular micropapilla in every foveola. record mussel commensal Branchipolynoe pettiboneae Miura & Hashimoto, 1991 reported described northern South China Sea, where for first time scale-worm noted as occurring at a cold-seep. Keys to distinguish are provided.

Haloschizopera cheni sp. n., was recognized from our latest collections the East China Sea. The new species is similar to H. abyssi Becher, 1974 but differs it by following combined features: baseoendopodal lobe of female P5 with five setae, P2 and P3 enp-3 both longer than enp-1-2 combined, caudal rami broad. Comparison all known performed. Species in genus can be divided into four groups setal formulae P4. main diagnostic characters each are listed a key also provided.

Both sexes of a new species, Stylicletodes wellsi sp. nov. (Harpacticoida: Cletodidae), are described from material collected sediments in the East China Sea. The species belongs to group whose members characterized by an anal operculum that has backwardly directed, median linguiform process and fifth legs display naked or sparsely pinnate armature elements both sexes. Within this group, S. is morphologically closest reductus Wells, 1965 but differs primarily its European congener pattern P4...

MexAB-OprM is a constitutively expressed multidrug efflux system of Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Using isogenic pump mutants, the contributions and outer membrane barrier to multiple antibiotic resistance were evaluated by assessing influence inactivation permeabilization on susceptibility. Both increased permeability enhanced susceptibility, although maximal susceptibility was achieved when two combined. Thus, inhibition pumps constitute an effective approach reversing this organism.

Abstract Background The swimming crab, Portunus trituberculatus, is an important commercial species in China and widely distributed the coastal waters of Asia-Pacific countries. Despite increasing interest crab research, a high-quality chromosome-level genome still lacking. Findings Here, we assembled first reference P. trituberculatus by combining short reads, Nanopore long Hi-C data. assembly size was 1.00 Gb with contig N50 length 4.12 Mb. In addition, BUSCO assessment indicated that...

To address these questions, here we sequenced genomes 10 crab species covering all currently controversial taxonomies at section level. Our whole-genome phylogenetic...
