A stationary robotic strawberry harvester, combinable with a movable bench system, was developed. Initially, the features of strawberries, such as visibility fruit, picking force required, and spectral reflectance were investigated. Subsequently, machine-vision system constructed, comprising units to measure position coloration respectively. Considering these optimally located detect mature fruit estimate their coloration. White, red, green light-emitting diodes installed for more accurate...

A clinical diagnosis of lentigo maligna at an early stage is often difficult even for experienced dermatologists. Differential diagnoses would include solar lentigo, lesions seborrheic keratosis, lichen planus-like pigmented actinic keratosis and melanocytic nevus. Dermoscopy has been shown to have higher diagnostic accuracy, especially in the skin lesions, past two decades. To aim present study was review key points on dermoscopy published work differentiate from other differential reassess...

A quenchbody (Q-body) is a fluorophore-labeled homogeneous immunosensor in which the fluorophore quenched by tryptophan (Trp) residues vicinity of antigen-binding paratope and dequenched response to antigen binding. Developing Q-bodies against targets on demand remains challenging due large sequence space complementarity-determining regions (CDRs) related binding quenching. In this study, we pioneered strategy using high-throughput screening protein language model (pLM) predict effects...

The delivery of the rotational atherectomy burr can sometimes be hindered in distal calcified lesions complicated by proximal vessel tortuosity or other obstacles. This problem may result procedural failure fatal complications, including coronary perforation, entrapment, driveshaft fracture. To prevent these catastrophic outcomes and ensure successful delivery, we introduce DELIVER (Deep Engagement guide catheter 5-F chiLd-guIde for deliVEry subsequent Rotational atherectomy) technique....

ABSTRACT Background Burr fracture during rotational atherectomy (RA) is a rare but potentially devastating complication. Due to its infrequency, comprehensive data on incidence, mechanisms, and management are lacking. This study aimed investigate the contributing factors, strategies for burr fractures RA procedures. Methods retrospective analysis included all patients who underwent PCI with at single center between January 2013 October 2024. Data were collected from prospective registry....

Abstract Although the effectiveness of snare techniques during self-expandable transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) in horizontal aorta has been reported, detailed technical guidance, such as identifying optimal snaring locations and timing, remains limited. This report highlights challenges TAVR aortas, demonstrating that strategically repositioning to poorly coaxialized segments delivery system facilitates passage subsequent coaxial deployment.

Abstract Background: Although differences in breast cancer incidence among Occidental and Asian populations are often attributed to variations environmental exposures and/or lifestyle, fewer studies have systematically examined the effect of age-related variations. Methods: To further explore geographic variations, we compared age-specific patterns cases female invasive from Surveillance, Epidemiology, End Results (SEER) program Osaka Cancer Registry (1978-1997). Results: In SEER, there were...

This paper presents a palmprint recognition algorithm using Phase-Only Correlation (POC). The use of phase components in 2D (two-dimensional) discrete Fourier transforms images makes it possible to achieve highly robust image registration and matching. In the proposed algorithm, POC is used align scaling, rotation translation between two images, evaluate similarity them. Experimental evaluation database clearly demonstrates efficient matching performance algorithm.

Computer-aided diagnosis of dermoscopy images has shown great promise in developing a quantitative, objective way classifying skin lesions. An important step the classification process is lesion segmentation. Many studies have been successful segmenting melanocytic lesions (MSLs), but few focused on non-melanocytic (NoMSLs), as wide variety makes accurate segmentation difficult. We developed an automatic program for detecting borders images. The method consists pre-processing phase, general...
