Methods Eight hundred one patients who underwent CTO in 28 Japanese centers between January 2009 December 2010 were enrolled this registry. Results Overall procedural clinical success rates 84.8 83.8%, respectively, of which,...
This paper presents a new topology for pulsewidth modulation (PWM) rectifier which achieves unity power factor on the AC supply side and ripple reduction DC output side. The main circuit of this consists conventional PWM pair additional switches. switches are controlled such that current line is reduced, achieved line. As result, does not require large capacitor or passive LC resonant circuit. Furthermore, control requires only simple effectiveness was confirmed by experiments analysis....
Glyoxal bis(N-methyl-N-phenylhydrazone) (1) and its related compounds such as 2-pyridinecarboxaldehyde N-methyl-N-phenylhydrazone (3) were prepared examined ligands for the Suzuki−Miyaura cross-coupling reaction of aryl halides arylboronic acids. We found phosphine-free catalysts, Pd(OAc)2/hydrazone ligand 1 or 3, to be efficient catalysts a variety substrates produce coupling products in good yields.
Glyoxal bishydrazones 1 and pyridyl-hydrazone 2b were prepared examined as a ligand for the Mizoroki-Heck cross-coupling reaction of aryl halides olefin. We found that PdCl2(MeCN)2/hydrazone 1e was phosphine-free efficient catalyst system variety substrates to produce coupling products in good yields.
Intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) was only rarely used in landmark trials comparing percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) with artery bypass grafting (CABG) patients multivessel disease. The authors aimed to evaluate clinical outcomes after optimal IVUS-guided PCI undergoing PCI.The OPTIVUS (OPTimal IntraVascular UltraSound)-Complex study cohort a prospective multicenter single-arm enrolling 1,021 PCI, including left anterior descending using IVUS, aiming meet the prespecified criteria...
This study was performed to determine the complications occurring during retrograde percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) for chronic total occlusion (CTO) based on analysis of multicenter, prospective, nonrandomized Retrograde Summit registry.Retrograde PCI CTO has improved treatment success rates, but several related approach have been reported, including collateral channel injury and donor artery due their use as roots. This registry included data from 1,166 patients who underwent in 28...
BACKGROUND: Limited large-scale, real-world data exist on the prevalence and clinical impact of discordance between fractional flow reserve (FFR) nonhyperemic pressure ratios (NHPRs). METHODS: The J-PRIDE registry (Clinical Outcomes Japanese Patients With Coronary Artery Disease Assessed by Resting Indices Fractional Flow Reserve: A Prospective Multicenter Registry) prospectively enrolled 4304 lesions in 3200 patients from 20 centers. were classified into FFR+/NHPR−, FFR−/NHPR+, FFR+/NHPR+,...
Abstract Background The efficacy of transcatheter closure for patent foramen ovale (PFO) , which is considered a cause cerebral infarction, has been reported. PFO often becomes apparent only during the Valsalva maneuver, making its diagnosis sometimes challenging. As method to overcome inadequate maneuvers, cases using party balloon inflation maneuver have However, there are no verified reports on actual effectiveness in daily clinical practice. Purpose To investigate revealing " masked PFO....
Cavotricuspid isthmus (CTI)-dependent atrial flutter (AFL) is difficult to manage with antiarrhythmic drugs, radiofrequency (RF) ablation being the standard treatment. However, achieving a bidirectional CTI block can be challenging due complex anatomy and epicardial-endocardial breakthrough (EEB). This case report illustrates that cryoablation serve as an effective bail-out strategy achieve permanent when RF fails, particularly in cases complicated by EEB. We present of 66-year-old woman who...
Acute coronary syndrome (ACS) requires rapid transportation by the emergency medical system (EMS). In snowy areas, traffic conditions may delay EMS transport times and increase mortality rate of ACS. However, there is a paucity systemic data showing how snowfall affects in patients with This study aimed to investigate impact on in-hospital death We examined 2387 consecutive ACS who were transported via hospitals participating Sapporo City network between April 2013 2023. The divided into two...
The delivery of the rotational atherectomy burr can sometimes be hindered in distal calcified lesions complicated by proximal vessel tortuosity or other obstacles. This problem may result procedural failure fatal complications, including coronary perforation, entrapment, driveshaft fracture. To prevent these catastrophic outcomes and ensure successful delivery, we introduce DELIVER (Deep Engagement guide catheter 5-F chiLd-guIde for deliVEry subsequent Rotational atherectomy) technique....
Abstract Introduction The ExoSeal ® (Cordis, Florida, USA) is a bioabsorbable vascular closure device that facilitates hemostasis by deploying polyglycolic acid (PGA) plug. This report presents the "PseuSeal technique," novel approach to seal pseudoaneurysm using in an off-label manner. Methods PseuSeal technique includes Snare and Rendezvous, both performed via contralateral crossover approach. choice of depends on whether 4-Fr catheter can be advanced into cavity. If feasible, selected;...
ABSTRACT Background Burr fracture during rotational atherectomy (RA) is a rare but potentially devastating complication. Due to its infrequency, comprehensive data on incidence, mechanisms, and management are lacking. This study aimed investigate the contributing factors, strategies for burr fractures RA procedures. Methods retrospective analysis included all patients who underwent PCI with at single center between January 2013 October 2024. Data were collected from prospective registry....
ABSTRACT Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) for chronic total occlusion (CTO) lesions with ambiguous proximal cap remains challenging. We present a successful CTO‐PCI case involving ambiguity, treated by combining balloon‐assisted subintimal entry (BASE) and tip‐detection antegrade dissection re‐entry (TD‐ADR) techniques. The BASE‐facilitated TD‐ADR technique is novel approach has the potential to enhance safety efficacy of procedures.
Palladium/copper-catalyzed Sonogashira cross-coupling reaction of aryl halides with a variety terminal alkynes under amine-free conditions in dimethylformamide (DMF) at 80 degrees C gave internal arylated using PdCl2(MeCN)2 phosphine-free hydrazone 2a as ligand and CuI the cocatalyst good yields. We also found PdCl2/hydrazone 1d PhMe was efficient catalyst system for Hiyama bromides aryl(trialkoxy)silanes
An asymptotically zero power charge recycling bus (CRB) architecture, featuring virtual stacking of the individual bus-capacitance into a series configuration between supply voltage and ground, has been proposed. This CRB architecture makes it possible to reduce not only each bus-swing but also total equivalent ultramultibit buses running in parallel. The swing is given by recycled charge-supplying from upper adjacent capacitance, instead line. dramatical reduction was verified simulated...
Abstract Two Japanese persons with consanguinous parents had a motor and sensory neuropathy of the hypertrophic type excessive myelin outfolding in myelinated fibers. A morphometric analysis biopsied sural nerve was made. Excessive outfolding, segmental demyelination, re‐myelination decrease density both large small fibers were evident. Using linear regression, spiral length shorter relative to axonal area. These patients may have new variant hereditary neuropathy.
A photosensitized reaction was performed using molecular chirality, which generated and amplified by the spontaneous crystallization of achiral coumarincarboxamide. The chirality retained in a cold solution caused slow racemization transferred to optically active products 2 + cycloaddition with high enantiomeric excesses.
No outside source of chirality was needed to resolve the racemate an axially chiral pyrimidinone (see scheme). Crystallization at high temperatures gave optically active material in up 73 % ee. The resolved product could be reduced with NaBH4 enantioselectivity.
