1. 8%カゼイン食にMetを添加した時に起こる脂肪肝の際のプラズマ全エステル型脂肪酸, 燐脂質, コレステロールを測定したがエチオニンやオロチン酸による脂肪肝の場合と異なり, 肝脂質の蓄積に伴ってこれらの血中脂質量に変化は見られなかった。2. 無蛋白食にメチオニンを加えた飼料でネズミを飼育すると無蛋白食に比して肝脂質は著しく増加するが, Thrの添加によって肝脂質蓄積は部分的に阻止された。また無蛋白食にMetとThrを添加すると体重の減少は明かに少なくなった。無蛋白食群では8%カゼイン食群に比してプラズマ中のエステル型脂肪酸は著しく低下し, Metの添加によっては無蛋白食群と変らなかったが, MetとThrを同時に無蛋白食に加えるとエステル型脂肪酸量は8%カゼイン食群と略同じ程度にまで回復した。これらの実験からは8%カゼイン食の場合にも, 無蛋白食の場合にもMetの添加による肝脂質の増加は肝臓におけるリポ蛋白の合成低下によるとは考え難いがThrの肝脂質蓄積阻止作用はリポ蛋白合成促進と関係ある可能性も存在する。

A simple method for determination of organophosphorus pesticide residues at the parts per million level in milk was developed.
