To evaluate the chest CT findings in an environmentally homogeneous cohort from cruise ship Diamond Princess with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).This retrospective study comprised 104 cases (mean age, 62 years ± 16 [standard deviation], range, 25-93 years) COVID-19 confirmed reverse-transcription polymerase change reaction findings. images were reviewed, and severity score was calculated for each lobe entire lung. compared between asymptomatic symptomatic cases.Of cases, 76 (73%)...
The objective of this study was to assess the relationship between nigrostriatal magnetic susceptibility and dopamine transporter abnormality their associations with behavioral cognitive impairments in patients Parkinson's disease (PD).For case-control study, we enrolled 41 PD 20 age-matched healthy controls. All participants underwent global physical assessments, 3-Tesla brain resonance imaging including quantitative mapping (QSM; iron deposition measure), 123...
To assess the relationship among iron accumulation, blood-brain barrier (BBB) damage, and cognitive function in patients with cerebral autosomal dominant arteriopathy subcortical infarcts leukoencephalopathy (CADASIL).We enrolled 21 NOTCH3 mutations age-matched healthy controls this cross-sectional study. All participants underwent global physical assessments brain MRI using voxel-based quantitative susceptibility mapping (QSM; deposition measure) dynamic contrast-enhanced (BBB permeability...
Abstract We have shown previously that a 52-kDa phosphoprotein (p52) co-precipitated with Ig receptor (IgR)-associated MB-1 protein was inducibly phosphorylated by the stimulation 12-O-tetradecanoyl-phorbol-13-acetate. By immunizing MB-1, we prepared mAb (19-14), which can immunoprecipitate p52 and associated kinase molecule. Immune complex assay 19-14 showed is novel molecule involved in IgR-mediated signal transduction. Here isolated cDNA clone (alpha 4) from murine bone marrow library...
To compare the performance and interobserver agreement of COVID-19 Reporting Data System (CO-RADS), imaging reporting data system (COVID-RADS), RSNA expert consensus statement, British Society Thoracic Imaging (BSTI) guidance statement.
Exploratory whole-brain studies in patients suffering from methylmercury (MeHg) poisoning have not been conducted. We aimed to evaluate the neuroanatomical differences between with chronic MeHg and healthy volunteers via magnetic resonance (MR) imaging. Patients included this case-control study were divided into three categories based on whether exposure occurred utero, under 15 years of age, or over as fetal-, pediatric-, adult-type patients, respectively. This analyzed MR imaging data 10...
A human B cell clone (SGB3) responsive to IL 2 was established. Both recombinant and differentiation factor (BCDF) induced IgG secretion in SGB3 cells a dose-dependent manner, but did not affect the proliferation of cells. FACS analysis showed that expressed Tac antigen anti-Tac antibody inhibited 2-induced without any inhibitory effect on BCDF-induced secretion. These results could directly act provide signal through receptors distinct from BCDF receptors. Physiologic relevance response discussed.
BACKGROUND Timely angioembolization (AE) is known to improve outcomes of patients with hemorrhage resulting from pelvic fracture. The hybrid emergency room system (HERS) a novel trauma resuscitation equipped computed tomography scanner, fluoroscopy equipment, and an operating setup. We hypothesized that the HERS would timeliness AE for METHODS A retrospective medical record review who underwent fracture at our institution April 2015 December 2018 was conducted. Patients' demographics,...
Due to clinicoradiological similarities, including amnestic cognitive impairment and limbic atrophy, differentiation of argyrophilic grain disease (AGD) from Alzheimer's (AD) is often challenging. Minimally invasive biomarkers, especially magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), are valuable in routine clinical practice. Although it necessary explore radiological clues, morphometry analyses using new automated analytical methods, whole-brain voxel-based (VBM) surface-based (SBM), have not been...
Purpose: Magnetization prepared rapid acquisition with gradient echo (MPRAGE) sequence is a gold-standard technique for voxel-based morphometry (VBM) because of high spatial resolution and excellent tissue contrast, especially between gray matter (GM) white (WM). Despite its benefits, MPRAGE exhibits distinct challenge VBM in some patients neurological disease long scan time motion artifacts. Speedily acquired localizer images may alleviate this problem. This study aimed to evaluate the...
This study aimed to investigate whether deep-learning reconstruction (DLR) improves interobserver agreement in the evaluation of honeycombing for patients with interstitial lung disease (ILD) who underwent high-resolution computed tomography (CT) compared hybrid iterative (HIR).
This study aimed to evaluate if combining low muscle mass with additional body composition abnormalities, such as myosteatosis or adiposity, could improve survival prediction accuracy in a large cohort of gastrointestinal and genitourinary malignancies.
Uterine sarcomas have very poor prognoses and are sometimes difficult to distinguish from uterine leiomyomas on preoperative examinations. Herein, we investigated whether deep neural network (DNN) models can improve the accuracy of MRI-based diagnosis in patients with sarcomas. Fifteen sequences MRI for (uterine sarcoma group: n = 63; leiomyoma: 200) were used train models. Six radiologists (three specialists, three practitioners) interpreted same images validation. The most important...
Cross-linking of surface B cell Ag receptor (BCR) induces tyrosine phosphorylation BCR-associated components through a receptor-mediated signal transmission pathway. cell-specific mb-1 and B29 genes encode the alpha/beta complex in mature sIgM+ cells. Here, we studied involvement gene product, MB-1, BCR-related structure immature Affinity-purified anti-MB-1 antibody coprecipitated mu chain/20-kDa/15-kDa proteins together with monomer MB-1 Ig-alpha/Ig-beta heterodimer from digitonin lysates...
Triggering of the Ig receptor (IgR) induces activation in multiple intracellular signal transduction reactions including protein tyrosine phosphorylation, phospholipase C, increased inositoltriphosphate, diacylglycerol, Ca2+ mobilization, and kinase C. The IgR-complex, composed mu-chain, L chain, Ig-alpha (MB-1), Ig-beta (B29) proteins, is a functional unit both for expression IgR into cells, possibly by physical association with down-stream molecules. An important motif ((D or E)-X7-(D...
