Syndróm Cornelia de Lange je genetický syndróm s prejavmi v somatickej, kognitívnej a percepčnej oblasti. Vyznačuje sa interindividuálnymi rozdielmi medzi pacientmi touto diagnózou. Súčasťou narušenia sú poruchy zraku sluchu, správania narušenie komunikačných schopností. Predložená kazuistika prezentuje charakteristiku syndrómu z pohľadu klinického logopéda do odbornej literatúry pridáva klinicko-logopedické postupy využité pri terapii narušených schopností schopnosti príjmu potravy.
