To assess two-dimensional phase-encoded proton chemical shift imaging for potential clinical application in presurgical localization of temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE).Interictal studies were performed 25 patients (17 unilateral, eight bilateral epileptogenic abnormalities) and 12 healthy volunteers. Results compared with those electroencephalography. For each lobe, the volume interest (VOI) included mesial, lateral, anterior, posterior areas. The zone was characterized by an abnormal pattern...

Background and Purpose Magnetic resonance (MR) diffusion-weighted imaging (DWI), a noninvasive procedure, may play an important role in detecting accurately localizing the extent of evolving infarction within period immediately following stroke. We evaluated sensitivity specificity DWI ischemia compared quantitative measure derived from DWI, apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC), with autoradiographic cerebral blood flow (CBF) experimental model focal rats. Methods MR data were obtained...

Recently, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) has been reported to be clinically useful, in selected cases, patients with melanocytic skin lesions. This report describes good resolution, useful MRI scans of squamous cell carcinoma, dermatofibroma, and primary cutaneous B‐cell lymphoma. The tumor depth measured by was excellent correlation Breslow's measurements, indicating that is probably the radiologic technique choice for preoperative evaluation extent recurrent tumors. also provides...

Oxidation behavior of Super304H and HR3C steel in high temperature steam from an ultra-supercritical coal-fired boiler was investigated this paper. The results showed that the oxidized surface ware composed Fe2O3, Cr2O3 FeCr2O4, oxide scale had a thickness 50–70 μm. In addition, about 20μm contained few pitting. oxidation product layer two samples could be divided into layers, including outer enriched O element Fe element, inner Cr element. Furthermore, spalling observed on sample.

Magnetic resonance diffusion-weighted imaging (MR-DWI) is sensitive to the diffusibility of water and may offer characterization anatomical localization stroke leading early tailored therapeutic intervention. We compared DWI, apparent diffusion constant (ADC), autoradiographic cerebral blood flow (CBF) in a model focal ischemia rat. Sprague-Dawley rats were embolized with single silicone cylinder injected into internal carotid artery. Both common carotids permanently ligated. The animals...

This manuscript presents a novel scheme to achieve high-resolution laser-radar ranging with small sample number under low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) conditions. To reduce the number, Restricted Isometry Property-based optimal multi-channel coprime-sampling (RIP-OMCS) strategy is established. In RIP-OMCS strategy, data collected across multiple channels very rates can record accurate range information on each target. Further, asynchronous problem caused by channel sampling-time errors...

This manuscript presents a novel framework for high-resolution and robust microwave correlation imaging. In order to generate more diverse random radiation field distribution, the unified (URRF) model is proposed. The URRF can accurately characterize joint modulation in signals’ phase, amplitude, frequency. Furthermore, we build parametric imaging based on which clearly describes relationship between image be reconstructed signals by model. By using this model, reconstruction of an converted...
