Five field studies were carried out in broilers five piglets under European feed additive guidelines. Each followed randomized blocked design with two treatments: Control (basal diet) CBM588 supplemented groups. performance parameters selected body weight, daily gain, intake efficiency (feed:gain). A novel combination of Butyric and Valeric acid glycerol esters with oregano oil in a dry powder form was evaluated for performance improvements broilers. The dosing regimen (500 g/Ton feed starter grower; 250 finisher feed) considered low compared to conventional practices using non-esterified short-chain fatty acids (SCFA). Six trials were conducted at various trial facilities Italy, United Kingdom, Spain, Poland. Supplemented broilers weighed significantly more than the control birds 28...

In Trial 1, there six treatments factorially arranged with two forms (mash vs pellets), three levels WW from 1-21/22-42d: 0/0, 7.5/15%, 15/30%. Bites by Bothrops snakes normally induce local pain, haemorrhage, oedema and myonecrosis. Mammalian isolated nerve-muscle preparations exposed to venoms their phospholipase A2 toxins (PLA2) can exhibit a neurotoxic pattern as increase in frequency of miniature end-plate potentials (MEPPs) well amplitude (EPPs); neuromuscular facilitation followed complete irreversible blockade without morphological evidence for muscle damage. In this work, we analysed the ultrastructural damage induced...

The aim of the study was to contribute information on agave soluble fibers since research has been focused chicory fiber but not in products; thus we assess acute toxicity and genotoxicity two organic high purity dietary from agave, Metlin? Metlos?. We performed an assay Hsd:ICR mice Hsd:Wistar rats vivo genotoxic test. Results showed that there are no deaths at any doses or genotoxicity, so it can be concluded these products non-toxic, administrated none a cytotoxic, clastogenic aneuploidic effect.

Considered a public health problem in Brazil, Bothrops snake bites represent 80–90% of ophidian envenomation cases. After the bite, skeletal muscle tissue is able to regenerate from satellite cells myoblasts, which rapidly express myoD and form myotubes, myogenin, giving rise new fiber. The serum therapy currently used neutralize systemic effects, but it not effective reversing local damage. Searching for adjuvant therapies that minimize myonecrosis, Glycyrrhizinate Dipotassium (DPG -...
