Objective Recent literature has shown a growing interest in the relationship between presbycusis and cognitive decline, but significant evidence about long-term benefit of rehabilitation on functions not been reported yet. The aim study was to analyze audiological neuropsychological performances patients with cochlear implant (CI) or hearing aids (HAs) over time. Materials Method Forty-four bilaterally deaf aged more than 60 years (25 CI candidacy 19 HA candidacy) were enrolled. Patients...

Lymphomas represent the second most frequent malignant tumor (incidence 2.5%) in head and neck region. Non-Hodgkin lymphomas (NHLs) present with cervical lymph node involvement, but 40% extranodal site could be primary involved: nasopharynx, lacrimal sac, temporal bone, or others areas. NHLs of ear are rarely reported. In this report, we described a patient NHL external canal who was successfully treated surgical excision chemotherapy.
