Cerebral ischemia/reperfusion causes exacerbated neuronal damage involving excessive neuroinflammation and oxidative stress. ROS is considered a signal molecule to activate NLRP3; thus, the ROS/NLRP3/pyroptosis axis plays vital role in pathogenesis of cerebral injury (CIRI). Therefore, targeting inhibition may be promising therapeutic tactic for CIRI.

To investigate the phenotypic heterogeneity of tissue-resident synovial fibroblasts and their role in inflammatory response rheumatoid arthritis (RA). We used single-cell spatial transcriptomics to profile cells gene expressions tissues identify changes patients with osteoarthritis, RA sustained remission active state. Immunohistology, multiplex immunofluorescence flow cytometry were subsets. Deconvolution methods further validated our findings two cohorts (PEAC R4RA) treatment response....

Introduction: Myocardial infarction (MI), the most prevalent ischemic heart disease, constitutes a primary cause of global cardiovascular disease with incidence and mortality. The pathogenesis MI is exceedingly intricate, PANoptosis playing pivotal role in its pathological process. Xian Ling Gu Bao capsule (XLGB) contains various active components, including flavonoids, terpenes, phenylpropanoids, exhibits wide range pharmacological activities. However, it remains unclear whether XLGB can...

Abstract Current treatments for ulcerative colitis (UC) remain limited, highlighting the need novel therapeutic strategies. Trilobatin (TLB), a naturally derived food additive, exhibits potential anti‐inflammatory properties. In this study, dextran sulfate sodium (DSS)‐induced animal model is used to investigate effects of TLB on UC. It found significantly alleviates DSS‐induced UC in mice, as evidenced by reduction disease activity index, an increase colon length, improvement...

Oxidative stress and damage to macromolecules due free radicals such as reactive oxygen species (ROS) are commonly considered factors that can impair health. This study investigated the potential antioxidant properties of two subunit proteins associated with pigment-protein complex phycocyanin derived from Nostoc sphaeroides (Gexianmi). Bacterial expression vectors were separately constructed induce engineering proteins, Ns-α Ns-β. These then examined for their enhance antioxidative capacity...

Neural stem cells (NSCs) transplantation has been considered as a potential strategy to reconnect the neural circuit after spinal cord injury (SCI) but therapeutic effect was still unsatisfied because of poor inflammatory micro-environment SCI. Previous study reported that neuroprotection and immunomodulation were be most important mechanism NSCs transplantation. In addition, Wnt4 neurogenesis anti-inflammatory so it would an essential assistant agent for Our single sequence indicates...

Background Monocyte/macrophage (Mo/Mp) is a critical cell population involved in immune modulation of rheumatoid synovitis (RA) across different pathotypes. This study aims to investigate the contribution Mo/Mp clusters RA activity, and biological function particular subtypes remission. Methods We integrated single-cell RNA sequencing datasets from 4 published 1 in-house studies using Liger selected by comparison. estimated abundance bulk RNA-seq data 81 patients Pathobiology Early Arthritis...

To construction the telmisartan/collagen/polycaprolactone (PCL) nerve conduit and assess its effect on repairing sciatic defect in rats. The 60% collagen/hexafluoroisopropanol (HFIP) solution 40% PCL/HFIP were prepared mixed (collagen/PCL solution). Then 0, 5, 10, 20 mg of telmisartan with 10 mL collagen/PCL solution, respectively. Telmisartan/collagen/PCL conduits fabricated via high voltage electrospinning technology. The structure before after crosslinking was observed by using scanning...
