Soil salinization and alkalinization frequently co-occur in naturally saline alkaline soils. To understand the characteristics of mixed salt-alkali stress adaptive response Medicago ruthenica seedlings to stress, water content shoots, growth photosynthetic under 30 salt-alkaline combinations (salinity 24-120 mM pH 7.03-10.32) with salts (NaCl, Na2SO4, NaHCO3, Na2CO3) were examined. The indices significantly affected by both salinity pH. interactive effects between salt alkali stresses...

We studied the protective effects of Pandanus tectorius fruits (PTF) on Schwann cells and sciatic nerve damage in diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN) rats. PTF improved RSC96 cell viability increased Nrf2, Keap1, HO-1, NQO1 expression. reduced apoptosis ROS high glucose-treated cells, which was reversed by Nrf2 siRNA. Co-treatment with SFN further decreased ROS. SOD, GSH-Px, NGF, IGF-1, VEGF activities, knockdown but restored SFN. MDA levels showed opposite trends. In DPN rats, pain...

Malus halliana is an iron (Fe)-efficient apple rootstock growing in calcareous soil that shows obvious 'greenness' traits during Fe deficiency. Recent studies have shown exogenous sugars can be involved abiotic stress. To identify the key regulatory steps of chlorophyll (Chl) biosynthesis M. under deficiency and to verify whether sucrose (Suc) stress, we determined contents Chl precursor expression several biosynthetic genes halliana. The results showed caused a significant increase...

Increasing the use of organic fertilizers is an effective measure to improve, increase soil fertility and maintain crop yields. The aim this study was investigate influence different types on early yield grapes parameters, as well relationship between parameters grape under fertilization conditions. ‘Shine Muscat’ used material, with maturing cultivation in solar greenhouse. From time planting, three-year continuous management carried out using five base fertilizers: chemical fertilizer...

Melanoma, with its steadily rising global incidence, is characterized by high invasiveness, leading to poor prognosis in advanced stages. There remains an unmet clinical need for the development of radiolabeled PET imaging probes early diagnosis melanoma. Integrin VLA-4, a key factor melanoma metastasis, presents promising protein target address specificity shortcomings existing imaging. This study evaluates

Acer griseum (Franch.) Pax is an endangered species endemic to China, mainly scattered in the Qinling–Daba Mountains. The genetic diversity of 17 natural populations were analyzed by nuclear DNA (nDNA) and chloroplast (cpDNA) explore driving forces for its microevolution. A high level (nDNA: He = 0.296, cpDNA: Ht 0.806) was found A. griseum. Genetic variation within (92.52%) based on nDNA, while it among (96.26%) cpDNA. seventeen divided into two groups, corresponding subtropical zone (Group...

Background The fixed genetic differences between ecologically divergent species were found to change greatly depending on the markers examined. With such it is difficult differentiate shared ancestral polymorphisms and past introgressions diverging species. In order disentangle these possibilities provide a further case for DNA barcoding of plants, we examine differentiation two poplar species, Populus euphratica Oliver P. pruinosa Schrenk using three different types marker....

The strategy of combining immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) with anthracycline is recommended by clinical guidelines for the standard-of-care treatment triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). Nevertheless, several fundamental principles are yet to be elucidated achieve a great therapeutic effect, including cancer-homing delivery efficiency and ordinal-interval regime. Tumor-derived extracellular vesicles (TDEVs), as vectors intratumoral intercellular communication, can encapsulate agents...

High temperature gradient and rapid solidification rate in the laser powder bed fusion (LPBF) process could result presence of columnar grains, which cause poor high tensile properties as-built LPBF Hastelloy X (HX) alloys. Heat treatment effectively transform grain into equiaxed grain. However, carbides also are precipitated during heat treatment, lead to reduction ductility. In this study, we aimed investigate effect carbide morphology distribution on high-temperature HX alloys by using...
