Abstract. The concentrations and solubility of twelve trace elements in PM2.5 at Mt. Lushan, southern China, were investigated during the summer 2011 spring 2012. average mass was 55.2 ± 20.1 μg m−3 observation period. Temporal variations all including total water-soluble fractions with several dust storm spikes Al Fe observed. enrichment factor (EF) values 1 order magnitude higher for versus elements. For the first time, highly elevated levels of mercury (Hg) have been documented for several species edible Fungi genus Boletus growing in latosols, lateritic red earths, and yellow earths from Yunnan province China. Analysis Hg concentrations suggests that geogenic is dominant source fungi, whereas anthropogenic sources accumulate largely organic layer forest soil horizon. Among 21 studied 32 locations across 2 places Sichuan Province, was found at level all samples but not Sichuan, which...

Abstract. The project MarParCloud (Marine biological production, organic aerosol Particles and marine Clouds: a process chain) aims to improve our understanding of the genesis, modification impact matter (OM) from its export particles and, finally, ability act as ice-nucleating (INPs) cloud condensation nuclei (CCN). A field campaign at Cape Verde Atmospheric Observatory (CVAO) in tropics September–October 2017 formed core this that was jointly performed with MARSU (MARine atmospheric...

Airborne microplastics (MPs) have the potential to travel a long distance and undergo several cloud processes through atmospheric transport. However, little is known about interactions between MPs clouds. Here, we present field evidence for presence of abundant various in cloudwater samples collected at Mt. Abstract. To investigate the cloud water chemistry and effects of processing on aerosol properties, comprehensive field observations water, aerosols, gas-phase species were conducted at a mountaintop site in Hong Kong SAR October November 2016. The chemical composition including water-soluble ions, dissolved organic matter (DOM), carbonyl compounds (refer to aldehydes acetone), carboxylic acids, trace metals was quantified. measured very acidic with mean pH 3.63, as ammonium (174 µeq L−1)...

Objective and scientific risk assessment is of great significance for tunnel construction. The intrinsic link between level influencing factors are poorly understood, our ability to assess the risks construction remains limited. In this study, we improved normal cloud model combine fuzziness randomness into make result more accurate. First, constructed index system construction; second, calculated weight by using AHP method. Then determined eigenvalue through investigation analysis put data...

Fe, Al, Zn predominated both coarse fine aerosols, followed by high concentrations toxic Pb, As, Cd. Most these aerosol elements, which affected storms, exhibited various increases but consistent decreases...
