Abstract The water and energy exchanges in forests form one of the most important hydro‐meteorological systems. There have been far fewer investigations heat exchange high latitude than those warm, humid regions. few observations this system Siberia for an entire growing season, including snowmelt leaf‐fall seasons. In study, characteristics budgets eastern Siberian larch forest were investigated from season to season. latent flux was strongly affected by transpiration activity trees...

The cellular origin, in vivo function and fate of donor bone marrow-derived cells residing the recipient intestinal epithelial cells, pericryptal myofibroblasts or endothelial remain obscure. Although 'immunoprivileged' mesenchymal stem (MSCs) are prime candidates for cell- gene-based therapy, their precise role colitis remains largely undetermined. Using a dextran sulphate sodium (DSS) with busulphan (BU)-induced hypoplastic marrow model, we examined therapeutic effects MSC transplantation,...

Abstract To examine the possibility of heterogeneous mechanisms in proliferation adult T cell leukemia (ATL) cells, leukemic cells from 13 patients, nine acute-type and four chronic-type ATL, were examined for production interleukin 2 (IL 2) with or without mitogenic stimulation their response to recombinant IL when exogeneously added. The classified into groups, as follows. Group 1 (two patients): Cells this group produced messenger RNA, secreted 2, proliferated cultured mitogen-free...

Mogamulizumab (Mog), a humanized anti-CC chemokine receptor 4 (CCR4) mAb that mediates antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) using FcγR IIIa (CD16)-expressing effector cells, has recently been approved for treatment of CCR4-positive adult T-cell leukemia (ATL) in Japan. However, Mog failure sometimes observed patients who have accompanying chemotherapy-associated lymphocytopenia. In this study, we examined whether adoptive transfer artificial ADCC cells combined with would overcome...

Sensible and latent heat fluxes are important parameters for understanding energy/mass interactions. At present, there a number of methods available to estimate these fluxes, with varying degrees difficulty success. In the present study, we explore use flux variance method surface renewal sensible in two agricultural sites China. The results were compared direct measurements using eddy covariance. study sites, wheat field semi-arid area rice paddy humid provide an opportunity examine extreme...

High mobility group box 1 (HMGB1) is involved in the induction of airway inflammation and injury patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) idiopathic fibrosis (IPF). HMGB1 increased by transforming growth factor-β1 (TGF-β1), impairs epithelial barrier function lung. Desmin is a type III intermediate filament (IF) component protein expressed specifically in muscular cells. phosphorylated by Aurora-B and Rho-kinase at the cleavage furrow from anaphase to telophase. The disturbance of this phosphorylation results formation unusual long bridge-like IF structures (IF-bridge) between two post-mitotic (daughter) Here, we report that desmin also serves as an excellent substrate for other mitotic kinase, Cdk1. Cdk1 loses its ability form IFs vitro. We have...
