Zusammenfassung Die gegenseitige wertschätzende Wahrnehmung und partnerschaftliche Verbindung von Öffentlichem Gesundheitsdienst (ÖGD) der Multidisziplin Public Health war in Deutschland ein langer Weg mit vielen Schritten. Es bedurfte dafür wechselseitigen Verankerung Verschränkung Themen „Alter“ „Neuer“, systemorientierter Theorie Praxis. Fortsetzung dieses Weges ist, für beide Seiten wie auch die Gesundheit Bevölkerung, absehbar großem Nutzen.
Zusammenfassung Das Konzept eines Lehrbuchs als Brücke zwischen Theorie und Praxis ist unverändert relevant, verlangt aber eine zeitgemäße Aktualisierung. Grundlegende Prinzipien, Orientierungswissen spezifisches Handlungswissen in einem Referenztext können z.B. sogenannten Book Sprint Format/Open Access einzelnen ÖGD-Themenfeldern vertieft oder auch Auszügen lexikalisch angeboten werden. Vernetzte multimediale Formate sind für qualitätsorientierte Arbeit im ÖGD anzustreben.
Zusammenfassung Die Pettenkofer School of Public Health ist ein modellhafter Zusammenschluss von Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, Helmholtz Munich und dem Bayerischen Landesamt für Gesundheit Lebensmittelsicherheit. Unter ihrem Dach sind Masterstudiengänge in Epidemiologie verankert, die Umsetzung findet verzahnt mit Amtsarztlehrgang statt. Gesundheitswissenschaftler*innen, Mediziner*innen weitere Disziplinen promovieren im Ph.D. Programm Epidemiology and Health.
