Abstract BACKGROUND Biliary papillomatosis (BP) is a rare disease that characterized by multiple numerous papillary adenomas in the biliary tree. The clinical features and outcome, however, are not well known. authors retrospectively analyzed their clinicopathologic long‐term follow‐up results. METHODS Between March 1995 January 2003, 58 patients were diagnosed with BP cholangioscopic histologic findings at tertiary referral center, Asan Medical Center (University of Ulsan College Medicine,...

Helicobacter pylori causes gastroduodenal disease, which is mediated in part by its outer membrane proteins (OMPs). To identify OMPs of H. strain 26695, we performed a proteomic analysis. A sarcosine-insoluble fraction was resolved two-dimensional electrophoresis with immobilized pH gradient strips. Most the protein spots, molecular masses 10 to 100 kDa, were visible on gel alkaline pI regions (6.0 10.0). The proteome analyzed matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization-time-of-flight mass...

The effect of biochar and organic resource applications on lettuce cultivation was investigated. Treatment conditions pot experiment were designed with CN (control), IF (inorganic fertilizer), BC400-1 (Rice husk 400°C 1%), BC400-1+CP 1%+compost), BC400-4 4%), BC400-4+CP 4%+compost), BC600-1 600°C BC600-1+CP BC600-4 4%) BC600-4+CP 4%+compost). fresh weight in IF, BC400, BC600 treatments increased 185, 101-219, 83-138%, respectively, over that treatment. Total amount nutrient uptake the order...

Abstract Background: Several Helicobacter pylori proteins have been reported to be associated with severe symptoms of gastric disease. However, expression levels most these disease‐associated require further evaluation in order clarify their relationships disease patterns. Representative proteome components 71 clinical isolates H. were analyzed quantitatively determine whether the protein diseases and cluster isolates. Methods: After two‐dimensional electrophoresis (2‐DE) isolates, spot...

The aim of our study was to develop a new starter...
