We propose Bit-Cost Scalable (BiCS) technology which realizes a multi-stacked memory array with few constant critical lithography steps regardless of number stacked layer to keep continuous reduction bit cost. In this technology, whole stack electrode plate is punched through and plugged by another material. SONOS type flash successfully applied achieve BiCS memory. Its cell concept, fabrication process characteristics key features are presented.
The electron-density map of an Si crystal is drawn by the maximum-entropy method (MEM) with 30 structure factors which were determined very accurately on absolute scale Pendellösung [Saka & Kato (1986). Acta Cryst. A42, 469-478]. It shown that following three beneficial points arise from use MEM for accurate analysis. Firstly, a precise can be obtained; existence bonding electrons clearly visible in map, even though no forbidden reflections are included calculated 222 and 442 show good...
Adult bone marrow contains mesenchymal stem cells (bone marrow-derived cells; BMSCs) which contribute to the generation of tissue such as bone, cartilage, muscle and adipose. However, using a source has limitation low cell number. An alternate adult that could be obtained in large quantities, under local anesthesia, with minimal discomfort would advantageous. Human adipose by liposuction was processed obtain fibroblast-like population or tissue-derived stromal (ATSCs). In this study, we...

For a case meet inclusion criteria as infection, it needed require incision and drainage show positive cultures. Preoperative data regarding each patient were collected. Patient characteristics recorded...
ABSTRACT Cartilage damage is typically treated by chondrocyte transplantation, mosaicplasty, or microfracture. Recent advances in tissue engineering have prompted research on techniques to repair articular cartilage using a variety of transplanted cells. We studied the and regeneration layered sheets prepared temperature‐responsive culture dish. previously reported achieving robust when covering only surface layer partial‐thickness defects with domestic rabbits. also good Safranin O staining...
Abstract Introduction Angiogenesis is an important factor in the development of osteoarthritis (OA). We investigated efficacy bevacizumab, antibody against vascular endothelial growth and inhibitor angiogenesis, treatment OA using a rabbit model anterior cruciate ligament transection. Methods First, we evaluated response gene expression histology normal joint to bevacizumab treatment. Next, induced by transection, used macroscopic histological evaluations real-time polymerase chain reaction...
Abstract Current cartilage regenerative therapies are not fully effective in treating osteoarthritis of the knee (OAK). We have developed chondrocyte sheets for autologous transplantation and tested these vitro vivo preclinical studies, reported that promoted hyaline repair rat, rabbit, minipig models. However, has yet to be humans. Here, we report our combination therapy which conventional surgical treatment OAK, is followed by sheet repair. Eight patients with OAK defects categorized...
Osteoarthritis of the knee (OAK) is a chronic degenerative disease and progresses with an imbalance cytokines macrophages in joint. Studies regarding use platelet-rich plasma (PRP) as point-of-care treatment for OAK have reported on its effect tissue repair suppression inflammation but few macrophage polarization. Based our clinical experience two types PRP kits Cellaid Serum Collection Set P type kit (leukocyte-poor-PRP) Autologous Protein Solution (APS leukocyte-rich-PRP), we investigated...
Low back pain (LBP) is a pervasive global health concern, primarily associated with intervertebral disc (IVD) degeneration. Although oxidative stress has been shown to contribute IVD degeneration, the underlying mechanisms remain undetermined. This study aimed unravel role of superoxide dismutase 2 (SOD2) in pathogenesis and target limit SOD2 demonstrated dynamic regulation surgically excised human tissues, initial upregulation moderate degeneration downregulation severely degenerated IVDs....
Application of ultraviolet (UV) irradiation to a photocrosslinkable chitosan (Az-CH-LA) aqueous solution resulted within 10 s in an insoluble, flexible hydrogel. A low molecular weight acidic molecule like trypan blue and various high molecules such as bovine serum albumin (BSA), heparin protamine were all retained the hydrogel, while basic toluidine was rapidly released from In present work, we examined retaining capability hydrogel for growth factors controlled release vitro vivo....
Cultured annulus fibrosus cells within an atelocollagen honeycomb-shaped scaffold with a membrane seal were allografted into the lacunas of intervertebral discs which nucleus pulposus had been vaporized using indocyanine green dye-enhanced laser. Regeneration disc was assessed based on viability and histologic status cells, as well prevention narrowing space. To study regeneration after laser discectomy tissue-engineering methods.Intervertebral is most avascular tissue in human body, its...
Application of ultraviolet light irradiation to a photocrosslinkable chitosan aqueous solution resulted in an insoluble, flexible hydrogel like soft rubber within 60 seconds. In order evaluate its accelerating effect on wound healing, full‐thickness skin incisions were made the backs mice and subsequently was added into irradiated with UV for 90 significantly induced contraction accelerated closure healing compared untreated controls. Histological examination also showed advanced rate first...
Abstract Human adipose tissue, obtained by liposuction, was processed to obtain a fibroblast‐like population of cells or tissue‐derived stromal (ATSCs). The ATSCs, as well bone marrow‐derived mesenchymal stem (BMSCs), have the capacity for renewal and potential differentiate into multiple lineages tissues. These are capable forming when implanted ectopically in an appropriate scaffold. aim this study evaluate β‐tricalcium phosphate (β‐TCP) scaffold compare osteogenic differentiation ATSCs...
MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are small RNAs of ∼22 base pairs that regulate gene expression. We harvested cartilage tissue from patients with polydactylism, anterior cruciate ligament injury, and osteoarthritis undergoing total knee arthroplasty used microarrays to identify miRNAs whose expression is upregulated or downregulated age. The results were assessed by real-time PCR MTT assay in a mimic group, which synthetic double-stranded RNA the isolated miRNA was transfected upregulate expression, an...
Lateral lumbar interbody fusion (LLIF) and bilateral percutaneous pedicle fixation are valuable, minimally invasive lateral approaches used to treat symptomatic degenerative disc disease. In the current procedure, patient's position on operating table is changed after LLIF surgery from decubitus prone position. The ability perform both with patient in same should reduce operation time. Use of a guide wire problematic during screw (PPS) insertion using fluoroscopy A new wire-less PPS system...
Computed tomography (CT) analyses have reported that the prevalence of diffuse idiopathic skeletal hyperostosis (DISH) in Japan is 8.7-27.1%.
