The provision of a particle and power exhaust solution which is compatible with first-wall components edge-plasma conditions key area present-day fusion research mandatory for successful operation ITER DEMO. work package plasma-facing (WP PFC) within the European programme complements laboratory experiments, i.e. in linear plasma devices, electron ion beam loading facilities, studies performed toroidally confined magnetic such as JET, ASDEX Upgrade, WEST etc. connection both groups done via...
Abstract The mathematical model of constitutional chemistry described here is based on a concept isomerism which has been extended from molecules to ensembles molecules. A chemical reaction the conversion an ensemble into isomeric ensemble. An representable by atomic vector and associated bond electron (BE)‐ matrix, (R)‐matrix. These BE‐and R‐matrices serve as basis for computer programs deductive solution problems. We present algorithms theory BE‐ R‐matrices. They enable classification...
Abstract The topic of this article is the development and present state art computer chemistry, computer‐assisted solution chemical problems. Initially problems in chemistry were confined to structure elucidation on basis spectroscopic data, then programs for synthesis design based libraries reaction data relatively narrow classes target compounds developed, now a great variety are available or under development. Previously it was an achievement when any problem could be generated by...
Abstract Deep learning-based classification models show high potential for automating optical quality monitoring tasks. However, their performance strongly depends on the availability of comprehensive training datasets. If changes in manufacturing process or environment lead to defect patterns not represented by data, also called data drift, a model’s can significantly decrease. Unfortunately, assessing reliability model predictions usually requires manual labeling efforts generate annotated...
The influence of the presence deuterium on displacement damage in tungsten is studied by implanting 20 MeV ions into displacement-damaged already containing 1.7 at.% deuterium. SDTrimSP calculations reveal that for implantation fluence used, average each D atom recoiled once and hence mobile should be present simultaneously while displacing atoms. Nuclear reaction analysis after shows no lost from sample depth profile unchanged. However, must have been de-trapped effectively re-trapped again...
Polycrystalline tungsten (W) samples were simultaneously irradiated by 10.8 MeV W ions and exposed to 300 eV deuterium (D) at different temperatures ranging from 450 K 1000 K. After simultaneous ion irradiation D exposure the additionally low-energy in order populate all defects created beforehand. The amount of damage was evaluated measuring depth profiles thermal desorption spectra. Results compared with data obtained a sequential experiment where first only afterwards defects. At we...
Orcus is an intermediate-size 1000km-scale Kuiper Belt Object in 3:2 mean-motion resonance with Neptune, orbit very similar to that of Pluto. We present visible and near-infrared photometry spectroscopy obtained the Keck 10m-telescope Gemini 8m-telescope . confirm unambiguous detection crystalline water ice as well absorption 2.2\mu m region. Both Orcus' spectral properties appear be homogeneous over time (and probably rotation) at resolution available. From Hapke radiative transfer models...
The effect of near-surface blisters on deuterium transport in tungsten is studied by means nuclear reaction analysis (NRA) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Gentle plasma loading different durations subsequent NRA depth profiling performed heavily pre-blistered unblistered areas self-damaged samples. Comparison the profiles reveals a considerable reduction into bulk due to presence blisters. SEM results identify enhanced re-emission from sample open as underlying mechanism, which...
The retention of hydrogen isotopes (HIs) (H, D and T) in the first, plasma exposed wall is one key concerns for operation future long pulse fusion devices. It affects particle-, momentum- energy balance scrape off layer as well HIs their permeation into coolant. currently accepted picture that used interpreting current laboratory tokamak experiments diffusion hindered by trapping at lattice defects. This paper summarises recent results show this how are transported retained W needs to be...

Abstract A computer program (FORTRAN 77 for IBM-PC) generating reaction pathways between given educts and products of chemical reactions their sequences is presented. This based on the theory BE- R-matrices. Some applications to known are described as examples.
Abstract An improved version of the computer program RAIN (for bilaterally generating Reaction And Intermediate Networks from educts and products; FORTRAN 77, MS-DOS) is presented. Its application illustrated by elaboration a network mechanistic pathways for Streith reaction.

In support of the Extreme Ultraviolet Lithography (EUVL) roadmap, a SEMATECH/CNSE joint program is underway to produce multiple EUVL (wavelength 13.5 nm) R&D photolithography tools. The 0.5 NA projection optic magnification (5X), track length and mechanical interfaces match currently installed 0.3 micro-field exposure tools (MET) [1] [2] [3]. Therefore, significant changes current tool platforms other adjacent modules are not necessary. However, many existing systems do need upgrades...
Abstract Vision-based robotic picking enables automation of commissioning and sortation disordered parts. To locate parts for grasping, state-of-the-art approaches rely on convolutional neural networks instance segmentation in 2D images. However, this requires sufficiently large training datasets, which are expensive to capture annotate. Therefore, with synthetic data is promising as the can be generated automatically. We present an approach cut-paste method create images industrial use...
