Introduction: Following the results of WAKE-UP trial, AHA and Japanese guidelines were revised in 2019 to recommend IV rt-PA for ischemic stroke patients who have unclear time onset >4.5 hours from last known well, when MRI DWI-FLAIR mismatch is identified. Here, we investigated actual implementation rate, efficacy, safety with an area extremely high prevalence. Methods: Using data K-NET Registry, a multi-center registry Kanagawa Japan, 2,021 underwent between January 2018 December 2021....
Background: Computed tomography (CT) is globally recognized as the standard initial imaging modality for mechanical thrombectomy (MT) in large vessel occlusion (LVO). However, Japan, many institutions prefer magnetic resonance (MRI). This study aimed to evaluate and compare clinical outcomes between patients who underwent MT based on whether CT or MRI was used modality, documented K-NET registry. Methods: The registry a prospective collection of cases LVO, involving 40 Japanese institutions....
Objective: Mechanical thrombectomy (MT) for large vessel occlusion (LVO) has become a standard treatment, but outcomes vary depending on patient characteristics and treatment approaches. This study aims to develop scoring model quantify the likelihood of good using data from K-NET Registry, prospective MT. Additionally, we analyzed impact age these scores factors contributing outcomes. Methods: Among 3,187 patients in Registry who underwent MT, 2,381 met following criteria: 1) pre-mRS 0-2,...
Background: In mechanical thrombectomy (MT) for large vessel occlusions (LVO), approximately 10-20% of patients die within 90 days, with pneumonia and stroke due to cerebral infarction being the primary causes death. This study compared factors associated deaths using data from K-NET registry, which records cases MT in Kanagawa, Japan. Methods: prospective observational included 3,187 registered registry 2018 2021. Deaths occurring days were classified as death group, while infarction, any...
As the technology scaling approaching nano-scale region, variability in device performance becomes a major issue design of integrated circuits. Besides growing amount variability, statistical nature is changing as progress generation. In past, die-to-die which well managed by worst case technique, dominates over within-die variability. present and future, increasing it casts challenge methodology. This paper first shows measured results three different processes 0.35, 0.18, 0.13μm...
Chronic constriction injury (CCI) of the sciatic nerve in rats induces persistent mechanical hyperalgesia and allodynia. CCI is widely known as a model neuropathic pain, many studies using this have been reported. Recently, c-fos has used neural marker various assessed relationship between expression lumbar spinal cord. In study, we examined role prostaglandin E2 receptor subtype EP1 antagonist (ONO-8711) rat model. (EP1-ra) oral administration from day 8 to 14 significantly reduced...
Background & aimsDysphagia is a common sequela following stroke. Patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) often develop atrophy of the temporal muscle, but its clinical significance remains unclear. This study aimed to investigate whether muscle volume (TMV) related subsequent oral intake in patients SAH and evaluate predictors atrophy.MethodsWe performed retrospective analysis 60 receiving enteral nutrition acute hospitalization phase at single center between 2009 2019. The TMV was...
Microvascular decompression (MVD) is a standard surgical procedure for treating vascular compression syndromes. There are two basic ways to perform MVD: interposition using prosthesis and transposition. With the transposition technique, adhesions granuloma around site avoided, but required operation more complex than that method. We describe simple, quick MVD uses small "belt" cut from sheet of 0.3-mm-thick expanded polytetrafluoroethylene membrane. The belt has hole at wide end other...
Purpose: To determine the effect of intrathecal injection morphine 0.2 mg on postoperative analgesia, activity and satisfaction after elective cesarean section.Method: Forty-five parturients who had previously undergone section with spinal anesthesia without were enrolled in this randomized, double-blinded study. Group 1 received hyperbaric bupivacaine 10 intrathecally (IT) group 2 IT addition to IT. All subjects 20 piroxicam rectally at end surgery 18 hours surgery. Side effects first 24...
Background: Endovascular treatment (EVT) for acute large vessel occlusion has proven to be effective in randomized controlled trials. We conducted a prospective cohort study evaluate the real-world efficacy of EVT metropolitan area with number comprehensive stroke centers and compare it results other registries trials (RCTs). Methods: analyzed Kanagawa Intravenous Treatment Acute Ischemic Stroke registry, prospective, multicenter observational patients treated by and/or intravenous...
Dermoid cysts are non-neoplastic tumors that arise from defects in the separation of neuroectoderm. Cyst rupture rarely occurs spontaneously and most common symptom is headache, followed by seizure. Although many cases ruptured dermoid present with symptoms, reports asymptomatic, or where symptoms disappear, rare. We report case a 66-year-old Asian man history sudden onset headache who was found to have high amounts fat material subarachnoid space suppression mass left cavernous sinus. He...
This paper proposes a scheme that captures diverse input waveforms of CMOS gates for static timing analysis (STA).Conventionally latest arrival and transition times are calculated from the timings when transient waveform goes across predetermined reference voltages. However, this method cannot accurately consider impact shape on gate delay crosstalk-induced nonmonotonic or inductance-dominant stepwise injected. We propose new called "equivalent propagation."The proposed calculates equivalent...
We focus our attention on the layout dependent Across Chip Linewidth Variability (ACLV) of gate-forming poly-silicon patterns as a measure for manufacturability, which is major contributor systematic gate-length variation. First, we study ACLV standard cell layouts by lithography simulation. Then, introduce regularity in and how it improves also incurs area-overhead. According to investigation, propose two design guidelines standard-cell that can reduce with reasonable area overhead. Those...
Our patient presented with a mass lesion mimicking meningioma. The was resected, but pathological examination confirmed foreign body granuloma, which caused by silk fibres used as tenting sutures 8 years previously. Herein, we describe the case and review neurosurgical literature on intracranial granulomas.
Intracranial vascular complications following radiosurgery are extremely rare.We report a case of stenosis in the internal carotid artery 5 years after gamma knife for recurrent pituitary adenoma. Percutaneous transluminal angioplasty was performed successfully with anatomical and functional improvement. These results suggested importance monitoring arterial long-term follow-up. Moreover, this is first endovascular treatment as an effective therapy intracranial due to radiotherapy.
This paper discusses the resistive termination of on-chip high-performance interconnects. Resistive is effective to improve bandwidth interconnects, on other hands, increases power dissipation and area. Therefore trade-off analysis about necessary. proposes a method determine The derived by proposed provides minimum sensitivity process variation as well maximum eye-opening in voltage.
