Exosomal microRNAs (miRNAs) are reliable and noninvasive biomarkers for the early diagnosis of cancer. Yet, accurate feasible detection exosomal miRNAs is often hampered by low abundance in exosomes requirement RNA extraction large sample volumes. Here we show a thermophoretic sensor implemented with nanoflares situ miRNAs, without resorting to either or target amplification. Thermophoretic accumulation nanoflare-treated leads an amplified fluorescence signal upon binding nanoflares,...

Using natural membranes to coat nanoparticles (NPs) provides an efficient means reduce the immune clearance of NPs and improve their tumor-specific targeting. However, fabrication these drug-loaded biomimetic NPs, such as exosome membrane (EM)- or cancer cell (CCM)-coated poly(lactic-co-glycolic acid) (PLGA) remains a challenging task owing heterogeneous nature biomembranes labor-intensive procedures. Herein, we report microfluidic sonication approach produce EM-, CCM-, lipid-coated PLGA...

Abstract The endosymbiont Wolbachia has been detected in a few parthenogenetic collembolans sampled Europe and America, including three species of Poduromorpha, two Entomobryomorpha, Neelipleona. Based on 16S rRNA ftsZ gene sequences, most the infecting were characterized as members supergroup E showed concordant phylogeny with their hosts. However, neelipleonan symbionts form another unique group, indicating that infected multiple times. In this study, five collembolan identified hosts ,...

Nucleotide-binding oligomerization domain-like receptors (NLRs) are intracellular sensors of pathogen-associated molecular patterns (PAMPs) and damage-associated (DAMPs). Previously, we reported nucleotide-binding domain-containing protein 1 (NOD1) antagonists (11, 12) a NOD2 antagonist (9) that sensitized docetaxel (DTX) or paclitaxel (PTX) treatment for breast lung cancer.
