The effect of ultrafiltered xylanase-pectinase concoction produced simultaneously by a bacterial isolate using agro-waste-based media was assessed in prebleaching plywood waste pulp. Ultrafiltered enzymes caused 12.5% reduction kappa number at reduced enzyme dose (4.0-0.8 IU) per gram pulp under optimized conditions pH 8.5, temperature 55 °C, and treatment period 2 h. Using this methodology, amount Cl2-ClO2 consumption can be up to 30 28.86%. Significant improvement physical optical...

Abstract N ‐acyl dopamines (NADAs) are bioactive lipids of the endovanilloid family with known cytotoxicity for cancer cells; however, available data on participation endovanilloids in epithelial–mesenchymal transition (EMT) and stemness controversial. This study unveils inhibitory role ‐arachidonoyl dopamine (AA‐DA), a typical representative NADA family, breast cell migration, EMT, stemness. AA‐DA treatment also led to decrease cholesterol biosynthesis gene expressions, addition exogenous...

The management of agricultural land to improve farm income in coastal saline areas is quite challenging because, firstly, most the area characterised by monocropping with low-yielding rice varieties during kharif season. Under such fragile environment sustaining livelihoods these resource poor farmers become a real challenge both for technology developers as well policy makers. To increase under environment, strategies have been taken up adoption salt resistant crop and more importantly...

Cellulose is one of the most abundant polymers on earth. It present in huge amount various wastes agricultural produce. Cellulase enzyme can be produced by using these wastes. has been a wide range microbial flora such as fungi and bacteria. Production conditions for production cellulase enzymes optimized factor variable at time approach. Various carbon source, nitrogen pH, temperature, incubation temperature inoculum size have to maximum production. This review describes wastes, which are...

Out of fifty-three isolates isolated from soil samples Tattapani hot spring Himachal Pradesh, India, nineteen were screened for lipase production. Isolate TTP-06 with activity 3.01±0.05 U/ml was characterized and optimized different production conditions to give maximum lipase. identified as Bacillus subtilis TTP-06. Maximum enzyme observed when 0.75% (v/v) 24 hrs old inoculum used in medium (pH 8.0) containing 2.0% olive oil, (w/v) peptone, glucose, 0.3% NaCl, 0.05% MgSO4 incubated at 55ºC...

Abstract Farming communities in the Upper Ganga basin, nestled Himalayan region, are finding it extremely difficult to face water-related shocks, which stand profoundly impact their quality of life and livelihoods, due climate change. Often, coping strategies (technological or institutional interventions), developed by planners, become counter-productive as they not cognizance with end user community.
