The effect of ultrafiltered xylanase-pectinase concoction produced simultaneously by a bacterial isolate using agro-waste-based media was assessed in prebleaching plywood waste pulp. Ultrafiltered enzymes caused 12.5% reduction kappa number at reduced enzyme dose (4.0-0.8 IU) per gram pulp under optimized conditions pH 8.5, temperature 55 °C, and treatment period 2 h. Using this methodology, amount Cl2-ClO2 consumption can be up to 30 28.86%. Significant improvement physical optical...
Abstract N ‐acyl dopamines (NADAs) are bioactive lipids of the endovanilloid family with known cytotoxicity for cancer cells; however, available data on participation endovanilloids in epithelial–mesenchymal transition (EMT) and stemness controversial. This study unveils inhibitory role ‐arachidonoyl dopamine (AA‐DA), a typical representative NADA family, breast cell migration, EMT, stemness. AA‐DA treatment also led to decrease cholesterol biosynthesis gene expressions, addition exogenous...
The management of agricultural land to improve farm income in coastal saline areas is quite challenging because, firstly, most the area characterised by monocropping with low-yielding rice varieties during kharif season. Under such fragile environment sustaining livelihoods these resource poor farmers become a real challenge both for technology developers as well policy makers. To increase under environment, strategies have been taken up adoption salt resistant crop and more importantly...
Cellulose is one of the most abundant polymers on earth. It present in huge amount various wastes agricultural produce. Cellulase enzyme can be produced by using these wastes. has been a wide range microbial flora such as fungi and bacteria. Production conditions for production cellulase enzymes optimized factor variable at time approach. Various carbon source, nitrogen pH, temperature, incubation temperature inoculum size have to maximum production. This review describes wastes, which are...
In the coastal region, farmers view their farming operation as a system in which crop and fisheries are integral parts. The paper has studied impact of some land-shaping interventions implemented through crop-fish integration. The found that these land shaping models -farm pond, paddy-cum-fish, deep-furrow & high ridge broad bed furrow -have created suitable for growing multiple crops rearing fish.Financial analysis indicated investment on such financially viable (IRR, 36-48%; NPV, `...
Out of fifty-three isolates isolated from soil samples Tattapani hot spring Himachal Pradesh, India, nineteen were screened for lipase production. Isolate TTP-06 with activity 3.01±0.05 U/ml was characterized and optimized different production conditions to give maximum lipase. identified as Bacillus subtilis TTP-06. Maximum enzyme observed when 0.75% (v/v) 24 hrs old inoculum used in medium (pH 8.0) containing 2.0% olive oil, (w/v) peptone, glucose, 0.3% NaCl, 0.05% MgSO4 incubated at 55ºC...
Although less frequent than automobile accidents, train accidents have a major impact on victims’ lives. Present Descriptive Observational study was done to assess the load and analyze cases of fatal railway injuries at Department Forensic Medicine, SMS medical college Hospital, Jaipur (Rajasthan) during period May 2014 November 2015.
The present study sought to assess the status of mechanization in state, and concomitant constraints examine its role reducing costs hence enhance farm incomes. results this investigation showed that there is proliferation marginal holdings state as farmers account for about 70 percent total with meagre average holding size 0.41 ha. number parcels per more than double at national level. These tiny limit scope mechanization. use electricity agriculture, a proportion energy sold, around one...
In this paper, we present thermodynamic properties such as heat of formation, fusion and entropy for chalcopyrite structured solids with the product ionic charges nearest neighbour distance d (Å). The formation (∆Hf) these compounds exhibit a linear relationship when plotted on log-log scale against (Å), but fall different straight lines according to charge compounds. On basis result two simple (∆Hf)heat (∆HF), (∆Hf)entropy (∆SF), are proposed used estimate (∆HF) (∆SF) semiconductors. We...
Abstract Farming communities in the Upper Ganga basin, nestled Himalayan region, are finding it extremely difficult to face water-related shocks, which stand profoundly impact their quality of life and livelihoods, due climate change. Often, coping strategies (technological or institutional interventions), developed by planners, become counter-productive as they not cognizance with end user community. This study presents a methodology enable incorporation community knowledge expectations...
An experiment was conducted to evaluate the effect of feeding rice distillers dried grains with solubles (rDDGS) and gluten meal (RGM) combination enzyme supplementation on production performance broiler chickens. The experimental diets consisted following: T1 (no rDDGS/RGM/enzyme), T2 rDDGS/RGM, multienzyme), T3 (12.5% rDDGS, 15.0% RGM, no enzyme), T4 protease T5 (10.0% 12.5% T6 enzyme). Each treatment assigned 6 replicate groups birds randomly 8 in each group (48 birds/ treatment). results...
Abstract Background: Flaxseed in a richest terrestrial source of w-3 fatty acid – alpha-linolenic (ALA) which can be incorporated chicken meat when it is included ration. ALA further acted up on by desaturating enzymes to generate PUFA such as EPA and DHA increase the health value meat. However, dietary flaxseed results concurrent lipid oxidation due higher unsaturation negative impact growth performance. These effects feeding reversed chromium supplementation broiler chicken. Thus, this...
The present study was conducted in Palampur, Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh to examine the comparative economics tea production on small and large farms (estates). carried out during 2016 based a random sample 50 growers 3 estates chosen using stratified sampling technique. results revealed that among different components operational cost, share expenditure human labour highest (84-85%) as well estates. Per hectare leaf 54.5q case 57q farms. cost observed be `₹ 1, 561 per quintal while...
