A versatile flow cytometric bead assay (FCBA) has been developed for an ultrasensitive detection of T4 PNK activity.
A versatile bead size-encoded flow cytometric assay (FCBA) is developed for the sensitive and simultaneous detection of multiple microRNAs.
Sialic acid (SA) is a monosaccharide usually linked to the terminus of glycan chains on cell surface. It plays crucial role in many biological processes, and hypersialylation common feature cancer. Lectins are widely used analyze surface expression SA. However, these protein molecules expensive easily denatured, which calls for development alternative glycan-specific receptors imaging technologies. In this study, SA-imprinted fluorescent core-shell molecularly imprinted polymer particles...
Sialylations are post-translational modifications of proteins and lipids that play important roles in many cellular events, including cell-cell interactions, proliferation, migration. Tumor cells express high levels sialic acid (SA), which often associated with the increased invasive potential clinical tumors, correlating poor prognosis. To overcome lack natural SA-receptors, such as antibodies lectins enough specificity sensitivity, we have used molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs), or...
Mucin glycans are important component of the mucus barrier and vital defence against physical chemical damage as well pathogens. Abnormal expression mucin can lead to disease, especially cancer. Here, we first summarize main types glycosylation on mucins mechanisms by which abnormal occur. We next describe role ab-normal in Finally, MUC1-based antibodies, vaccines, radio-pharmaceuticals, CAR-T therapies using best characterized MUC1 an example.
The human genome contains at least 35 genes that encode Golgi sulfotransferases function in the secretory pathway, where they are involved decorating glycosaminoglycans, glycolipids, and glycoproteins with sulfate groups. Although a number of important interactions by proteins such as selectins, galectins, sialic acid-binding immunoglobulin-like lectins thought to mainly rely on sulfated O-glycans, our insight into modify these glycoproteins, particular GalNAc-type O-glycoproteins, is...
Abstract Background Cefixime is a third-generation oral cephalosporin antibiotic widely used to treat bacterial infections. Typical methods for cefixime analysis use expensive instruments or sophisticated experimental procedures, and thus sensitive practical method urgently needed detection analysis. Objective To develop robust “switch-on” sensor based on carbon quantum dots (CQDs). Methods In this study, black soya beans were as an inexpensive source “green” synthesis of fluorescent bean...
Journal of Cancer Metastasis and Treatment is an open access journal, focusing on basic clinical studies related to cancer cell, cell biology, oncology, radiation therapy radiology, obstetrics gynecology, pediatrics, surgery, hematology, neuro-oncology, etc.
Several derivatives of N,N-bis(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxybenzyl)- N-alkylamines were isolated in the reduction imines obtained from 3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxylbenzaldehyde and primary amines. Experimental results showed that they transformed corresponding 2,6-di-tert-butyl-4-alkylaminomethylphenols.
